Decent Price for a Boardwalk Hotel

I booked this Hotel because they seemed to have a decent amount of parking compared to some of the other equally priced hotels open during the off-season. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. It was a small room, but they had a mini-kitchenette, and a couch, and a balcony. I was clean, comfortable, and I would definitely go back.

There was absolutely nothing to not love. From the check in to the check out process everything was absolutely seamless. The rooms were a delight. The ocean view was just that a full view of the ocean. It was Divine!! The crash of the waves at nights was fantastic!! Did I mention the artistic work of our housekeeper. Every day it was something different. She is really talented/ gifts. Thank you Park Place for making our stay an absolutely fantastic one!! Btw, it was a group of 7 one of the couple was celebrating an anniversary and one of the party members a birthday. Their rooms were to die for. Well decorated to welcome them.

walkable and close to everything on the boardwalk. What could use improvement is security. Anyone can come in. the ONLY place that requires a swipe card is getting into your room. That was a bit unsettling. As a security and IT surveillance tech, there was little security in some places. Just an observation.

Nice staff. Wish rooms were a bit more updated, bathrooms ceiling looked old and it, as well as the tub needs to be replaced. Quiet because off season so it was nice to feel like we had a floor to ourselves. Staff was kind. Easy check in and out. Previous stay was in 2022. Nothing changed. Including WIFI password!

Went for weekend event and stayed through middle of following week. On last day of stay, other guests were placed in adjacent room, from this room was filled at about 2 pm there was constant high level noise from a TV and/or music. When I went to front desk around 7 pm, I was told nothing could be done. if noise from another room can be heard in my room that is not acceptable regardless of time of day. Note that hotel was much fuller over weekend and the adjacent room was not occupied. There were only a handful of rooms occupied on my last day. I do not understand why someone was placed in an adjacent room in a nearly empty hotel. Room had coffee maker. Went to front desk for extra coffee packages. While given coffee packages, was told that there was coffee available in lobby. There was no reason for this comment to be made. I get up fairly early, I like being able to make coffee in my room without having to go to lobby. Ratings would have been higher if not for these issues
