2nd time back there for the summertime. 24 & 25 was consentient and we enjoyed our time during early August. close to the beach front and restaurants. felt safe. staff was somewhat friendly but didn't go overboard with kindness though. more matter of fact if you get it. most likely will be back after we go to Aruba. 2026 go to Franco's and get the calzone and meatballs. yum ! then go Harrisson's for the crab cake and Lobster ! Ciao ! oh yeah....trim the damn trees and tall grasses in parking area's !!!!

We enjoyed the amenities. Great breakfast, pool area and hot tub that the family enjoyed. Right across from go cart place. I’d rate higher but housekeeping was non existent even after we requested service. We accumulated a lot of trash after 4 days with 2 kids. Someone would drop us off towels if we asked. The response was they were short staffed.

Worth it!

The front desk was very chill and very nice! Made sure to let me know if there was anything I needed to let them know! The room was spacious especially for a two year old to explore! Close enough to OC without having to be stuck in the traffic!

The hotel is super clean and very affordable. The breakfast is very lack luster. We have stayed at alot of different hotels in the area and this place by far has the poorest breakfast options. The hot tub was a cold plunge, no heat at all and no towels located by the pool. We have stayed at this hotel before and it was never an issue until this time.

The staff was non-existent. Rarely anyone behind the desk and when they were, they were staring down at their phones. Never eye contact, no friendly greeting. Most of the time you had to holler Hello to get them to come out from behind the barrier and then there was zero sense of friendliness. And at 6:00 am on a Friday, I went to the lobby to get coffee from the carafe in the lobby - it was lukewarm and stale tasting - had clearly been sitting there all night. Kinda feel like 6:00 am warrants fresh coffee for early risers. But nope. The hotel was nice enough, but please get kind and helpful people who don't stare at their phones to work the front desk.

The location was perfect! The hotel was nice and the set up was ok but it was very dirty. My bed and walls had big stains on them and i had to take my 1 year old and leave at 12am.

This property was perfect for a short stay in Ocean City. It was just a quick 10-15 minute drive to the beach, depending on how far up the strip you go. The Microtel was extremely clean, and had decent breakfast options. The pool/hot tub was so nice. Something to keep in mind, the pool area is shared with the beach bum motel which is right next door, but this was really not an issue. The location is great too, with many food options and activities nearby.
