The Space:

Chester Cottage is a charming original kiwi bach located in the picturesque beach village of Oakura. Just a ten-minute drive from New Plymouth on NZ's West Coast, Surf Highway 45, this property offers a laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing family holiday. With direct beach access and nestled among multi-million dollar homes, it provides a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.



This cottage features a welcoming beach vibe, with ocean and beach views from nearly every room. It is cost-effective accommodation that prioritizes location over frills, making it ideal for those looking to unwind by the sea.



Comfortable Accommodation:

- Entire second floor is a master suite with a king bed and bathroom

- Walk-in wardrobe and a nook for quiet moments with sea views

- Two additional bedrooms on the main level:

- Queen bedroom with direct access to the deck

- Twin bedroom with two single beds



Interior Feeling:

- Open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher)

Outdoor Bliss:

- Large private and sheltered deck with ocean views

- Guests are required to leave the property tidy, with all dishes washed



Professional Cleaning:

- All linen and towels provided by a commercial linen company

- Professionally laundered and cleaned to meet health standards

- Part end-of-stay cleaning service included, covering bathrooms, mopping, and rubbish removal



Extra Services:

- Noon Checkin $40, Noon Checkout $40 (subject to availability)

- Boost Clean available upon inquiry

- Bookings exceeding 10 days incur an extra mid-term cleaning and linen fee every seven days

This property is not suitable for business travelers due to intermittent wifi and lack of 027 cell coverage on the Oakura beachfront. All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap, and body wash. If you use a hair dryer, please bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.
