Wandering Woods – Dog-Friendly 3 Bedroom Escape with Dock and Hot Tub in Deep Creek Lake (Oakland)

This home is a perfect retreat for families, friends, and furry companions alike. This charming 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home offers a blend of rustic charm and modern comfort along with access to a private dock on Deep Creek Lake for boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the water. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor while the third is in the loft bedroom upstairs. This home offers newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms for your comfort and convenience.

Outside, step onto the spacious deck, complete with a gas grill for BBQ's, plenty of seating for outdoor dining, and a relaxing hot tub for starlit soaks. The large yard is ideal for games and gatherings, and the firepit area invites you to toast marshmallows and share stories under the night sky.


IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
*This home's kitchen is equipped with a standard and k-cup style coffee pot.
*Max parking spaces for this home is 6; garage access is not available
*This home does not have cable tv (streaming is available using your own account)
*This is a non-smoking/vaping property
*Check-in is between 4 pm- 9 pm; Check-out is by 10 am.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please plan to bring your own supplies. One bath towel and one washcloth per person will be provided. Homes are equipped with cookware, dishes, drinkware, utensils, and bed linens for the max occupancy of the home. Propane will be provided for all propane grills; any refill requests can be made during normal business hours. Some items NOT provided include: paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, firewood and makeup remover wipes (recommended to avoid fees for towel damage).

PETS:
This home allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs to join in the fun. No other pets are permitted. Bringing more than two dogs will be charged a fee equal to 3x the standard pet fee, per pet.

WINTER RESERVATIONS:
A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS:
WITHIN 24 HRS OF BOOKING, sign the Rental Agreement to begin receiving your pre-arrival information. (Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement.) Once completed, your check-in instructions and door code will be automatically sent ONE DAY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you do not receive this info, please check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, contact us before 4 pm to ensure a smooth check-in. *All cancellations will incur a non-refundable processing fee*

Loved all the games to play in the basement! The heat was not working the best & I messaged the host (through VRBO & privately) a day before the booking and they never answered… there was a heating issue so it was quite chilly in the home up until the last day I felt like it started working again. Other than that everything was super nice & clean & we had everything we needed. (Besides a normal size strainer to drain water from my noodles)

This cabin was the perfect retreat for our honeymoon. Dog friendly so we brought our 2 along. You would never guess it was dog friendly, no odor or stains on anything. Beautiful inside and large wrap around porch to soak in the hot tub and rock in the rocking chairs. It was so nice, we never left. Great space!

The house was comfortable and spacious for our group, really enjoyed the hot tub and deck. A glimpse of the lake is visible through the trees, access to the lake eluded us. The kitchen is well furnished, though no dish cloth or sponge was to be found. Location is convenient to Deep Creek State Park, and other attractions. Interior was very nice. All amenities needed were included. Washer and dryer included which I didn’t see specifically in the project description. It states lake access, but you have to cut through private property for that so not sure that is accurate unless we weren’t aware of a specific spot. Nice location though. Close to a lot. Hot tub worked great. Kids loved the place and didn’t want to leave.
