Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Not super familiar with Downtown Oakland but it was close to everywhere I needed to be. Staff was very nice and even called me a cab when I woke up hungover with a dead phone and got me to the train station on time with just 11 dollars in my pocket.

I stayed here for a concert at the Fox theater. It was super close, I still Ubered because it was just me and my sister. It was fairly inexpensive and two minute drive lol. I was just trying to be safe. The parking is valet and is about $60 total but it’s worth it. I liked how you just pull up and hand off your car. I would stay here again in Oakland. Thank you!

This was such as surprise to my wife and I. To book this nice hotel to only come across that your next door neighbors in the hotel are homeless people. Homeless and other very weird people walk in and out this place with no restrictions. The included breakfast at the restaurant expect to see homeless people too. I have nothing against them but we paid premium prices to avoid experiences like this. Honestly, we were very disappointed and felt unsafe in many occasions. We don't recommend this hotel at all. Staff at the reception was also very rude.

There was only person at the front desk and people were lined up to check in. It was a disaster especially when one of the guests had issues with his reservation and everyone had to wait a long time. Bad experience.
