Very nice, neat, and cozy place to stay. It as definitely a dog friendly place to stay. We did not take a dog, but you could smell the dog smell. Not terrible, but since we are not dog people, we were sensitive to the smell. I would book this again, though. We loved it!

Kitchen came fully stocked! Loved the large dining room table! Plenty of parking. The outdoor area was lovely too with the fire pit, swing, and grill. This place is 5 mins away from Swallow Falls too. I had such a great experience at this Vrbo!

Great little house!

Great place and close to Wisp. Really enjoyed our stay! Will book there again. Great location with fire pit and yard! Just one small issue - there were dozens of lady bugs in the upstairs bedroom. It was fine but thought you all should know.

Quiet Snowy Cottage

We had a great time at Still Meadows. It was close to Wisp but removed and quiet. Perfect for family relaxing time and snowball fights in the snow.

Beautiful area

The area is beautiful and quiet around the house just what we were looking for. The house was very clean and had most of the kitchen items needed. Many yard games provided that my boys lived. The downstairs bedroom is listed as a queen bed. I'm not sure it's truly a queen it seems smaller.

Whistler ski

Terrific house for a large party of skiers. We were a total of 13 and there was more than enough room in the house, which is quite large. It's a true ski out location just steps from the garage and ski in right to the porch with the hot tub, which is big enough for 6-8. We watched the Super Bowl on the large screen TV in the living room and the dining table accommodated all of us. Lots of other amenities in the house (sauna, steam rooms) and plenty of hot water.

We stayed at Still Meadows last year for our anniversary and decided to come back this year. Great location, close to things but far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back!

Terrific little home. Off the beaten path but close to everything.

We had a terrific stay and enjoyed the house and all it offered, including a beautiful yard complete with fire pit and horse-shoe pit. Close to great hiking trails and just a short drive to Wisp. My only complaint was with The property manager, Vacasa, who did not respond to three emails requesting a late check-out (1pm instead of 10 am). I have listed several homes on VRBO and was always very responsive with such requests. I would have expected more from a third party property manager. I don’t blame the owners but they should be aware of this issue. Overall, the weekend was so much fun and we would come back.

Very cozy home.

The house scenery was very relaxing. The check in process was easy as well. The items in the house are a bit dated so I would recommend if you plan on cooking to bring some supplies. The outside was my favorite part so open and friendly.

Great place but with 1 big flaw

The kids and I had a fabulous time during our stay. The fire pit set up is fabulous. The property is easy to find and well maintained. Lots of outdoor amenities and good indoor ones are provided. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms were spacious. I wanted to give this property an overall score of 4, and the only reason it was not a 5 was because had the weather been hot the attic bedrooms would have been quite toasty in summer. However, what brought the rating down to a 2 is that that bathroom needs a strip-down-to-the-studs mold remediation. The smell was quite strong when we got to the house. I am allergic to mold, and both my youngest child and I got headaches from it. I bought mold killer and that brought it down some. However, from experience as a homeowner myself, I can say there is probable water intrusion in the subfloor behind the bathtub wall liner. Bath remodels can be pricey, but the property is such a nice destination, I think it would be worth it to the owners. I'm sending Vacasa pics tonight.

The property and inside the house were very clean. The yard games and fire pit were an extra bonus. And we especially loved the cows next door. The kitchen amenities however were terrible. Pots, pans, utensils, and cups all need replaced ASAP. I wouldn’t even sell what is there at a yard sale. The kitchen table was very nice and we loved how large it was. The clear shower curtain liner had multiple hooks holes ripped and a few actual shower hooks were missing. We bought a new clear liner it was that bad. The living room furniture was ok but worn.

Perfection!

I have literally nothing negative to say about Still Meadows! This place is amazing!! The house was spotless when we arrived and FULLY stocked with everything and anything you could need for your stay. Location: Perfect! Literally less than 10 minutes from everything. Deep Creek, WISP, nice dinning, Walmart, fun and adventure. Less than 5 minutes from Swallow Falls State Park which is gorgeous! We had a blast! The property is secluded, peaceful and beautiful! We will absolutely be staying here again next year!! This place is wonderful!!

Great space!

The house and grounds made for a great home base for a long weekend to Deep Creek! The house was impeccably clean and well stocked with things to do outside in the yard. If it had been a little warmer we would have made more use of the picnic tables and outside seating but the kids loved playing in the yard and riding their bikes in the long driveway, and we enjoyed many rounds of air hockey inside. Like some other visitors, we'd recommend replacing the mattresses, which were quite uncomfortable, and perhaps the older coffeemaker as well, since there isn't a coffeeshop too close by to pop out to. Otherwise, we had a great stay! Thanks for sharing Still Meadows with us.

Beautiful little isolated place in the mountains above deep creek lake only 5 min from swallow falls. Quiet, clean, peaceful. The managing agency is very response however, and there is a small place to eat almost walking distance away. So you have great seclusion but also great support if you need something. Will be coming back here!

Cute and cozy

The property looked good, the yard was neat and the house was nice and clean. The front door screen was a little torn and 1 of the hdmi ports on the TV was broken. We called maintenance and they promptly came and fixed the screened door. The maintenance gentleman asked me if we wanted another TV; I told him no, we are just fine ...I just want them to be in the know. We went there to relax and unwind and this house definitely provided that. We used the fire pit outside quite a bit and the kids had a great time with the air hockey table 🙂. Overall had a great experience with the property. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Relaxing getaway

It was very relaxing and quiet! The house was very clean and inviting. The firepit in the back was very nice and the yard games that are supplied brought us a lot of entertainment....added bonus was the property next door has cows... I jokingly named #23 Moo Hefner and #8 is Angus Young.....friendly cows that will give cow kisses! Would definately reccomend this property and stay here again!
