We had a horrible experience with this hotel. We needed to cancel our reservation they lied and said Expedia had to cancel. Expedia reached out several times to cancel and they would not respond to multiple emails and phone calls. They charged our card for the reservation even though we didn't stay there. After seeing the rest of the reviews it looks like we're lucky we didn't, sounds dirty and unkept. This was NOT good customer service!!! I would never consider this hotel again.

Lots of beds and owner was very very kind when we checked in. However, we did not have hot water in the showers throughout the weekend and unable were not able to get a lot of help with that. The only reason I would rate cleanliness a bit lower is because the bedding and towels had lots of stains. However this location is convenient and compared to camping it was incredibly ocmofortable.

THIS HOTEL IS EXTREMELY HORRIBL AS HEELLL!!!! mice traps on the floor in plain view 😱😷 spiders crawling 😳 you can literally hear things moving inside the wall!!! I had no choice to stay here because of my situation lucky me🙄 working through the area and got stuck here. If you can afford better YOU BETTER DO SO THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSE DOWN SMH HAUNTED AND DIRTY. Bring your cleaing stuff if you have know choice.

I did not realize when booking that the check-in location was not where our room was. After checking in, I was given another address. The area is beautiful, but as it was in a mountain area, there were no street lights. The house was dark. There were no pictures posted of the exterior, so I had no idea what I was looking for. There are no lights for the driveway and no house numbers on the outside. It was very hard to find at night. The house is unique but nice.

The first room was a bit crude. Certainly not an upscale place. When we pulled the bed spred back, we found piece of popcorn in the bed. It also appeared it could have been slept in. Complaining the owner/manager offered us an upgraded room with 3 beds. The room(s) had an electric stove and full sized refrigerator. We never tried the stove, but the microwave worked good. Some of the outlets didn't work nor did the light in the bathroom. The unit was dated and certainly not upscale. The beds were good and we slept great. over all our stay was acceptable.

Where do I begin? This place was a dump and completely misrepresented. There was no actual "Lodge" that I ever saw like are shown in the pictures. We had to drive 5 miles away form the office location to get to the place, which was never explained. Wifi didn't work. When I called they said they would check and get back to me. They never did. There was no shower curtain and the shower stream almost shot back towards the wall making a shower difficult at best. Fixtures were ripped of the walls. The downstairs bathroom sink had no hot water. The same bathroom had no curtain on window so someone could look right in. The fridge freezer was dirty. When I asked about ice they said the machine was broke so we had no ice. The kitchen sink was half stopped up and took forever to drain. There was a mattress downstairs against the stairs that was supposed to be on a bed upstairs. Apparently nobody bothered to do so. There was no blinds or curtains over the kitchen sink window so someone could just peer in if wanted. I would never stay here again if you paid me. We just needed a simple place to crash for the evening after spending the day in Yosemite and were leaving again early in the morning. Spend a little extra and get an actual hotel as this was not it. Everything was far outdated and new and shiny like the pics represent. I'm frankly surprised that Expedia would have such a listing on their site. Expedia should be embarrassed.

NO HOT WATER. Reported to manager several times but never fixed. So we left early. Motel said there was no problem and refused partial refund for the shorter stay. It's not just me--search reviews for "HOT WATER" and you will see dozens of complaints about this. This is essentially a coldwater flat so buyer beware.

The entire property had a sewage smell. Not sure whose fault that was. The room wasn't all bad- comfy bed, everything worked. There were some cleanliness issues- the coffee maker was gross and there was a toothpick/dentalfloss thing by the bed. kinda gross. The toilet could use some refinishing, and there was no bedside light1 either bright as hell or complete darkness.

Avoid this place

I know you get what you pay for, but this wasn't even worth the money i paid. The place is dirty. Garbage all over the grounds. Torn up driveway. Random parking spots. I found a used coffee cup (disposable) next to the coffee pot indicating the pot was probably not clean either. Overall dirty. The bathroom shade was torn up and has a light on the ground outside pointed directly at the window. I had to hang a towel for privacy and to block the light. The curtains had gaps where they wouldn't close allowing light to stream in and didn't provide privacy. The shower knob was on a shelf under the sink. I had to figure out which way to move the little rod to take a shower. The deadbolt didn't work. The bed was fairly comfortable. But the pillows sucked.
