The nearby cities of Buk-gu and Chukpun are definitely worth checking out. Buk-gu is 30 kilometres to the north of O-ri, while Chukpun is 40 kilometres to the north. Accommodations in Buk-gu include the Palace Tourist Hotel and New Gwangju Guesthouse. Chukpun choices include the DOZON HOTEL and Shinsung Hotel.

Before your O-ri trip comes to an end, why not spend an hour or two hanging out with South Jeolla sports fans at a local match? Guus Hiddink Stadium is found to the north of O-ri. To rest your head nearby, book a room at the OxbloodK or the ARTHALL HOTEL BENIKEA.
