Noise issues
Lovely looking hotel. Quick service and good facilities. However the noise travels easily from room to room and i was kept awake by the couple next door for most of the night. His was made worse by a light flashing on the smoke detector every few seconds.

Positive with tiny buts
So... positive stay, great welcome, room (Newcastle) comfortable abit noisy as guests go to their rooms but had a decent sleep. Just have a couple of points; They take a £50 reserve charge upon arrival (I was aware before booking) don’t understand why it ‘could’ take upto 10 days to refund if applicable - because of this I don’t get how in a superior room I have wooden stirrers for hot drinks creating unnecessary waste. They give you complimentary water but it’s not in the empty fridge so it was warm & having to drink out of the black plastic beakers made it worse. Finally why can’t the quilt cover be long enough to cover the quilt? There was a big chunk tucked under the bed...I don’t get it. All that said, the room was great value for money but because of this deposit which I guess is in place in case guests pinch anything you would think proper spoons, nice clean mugs & glasses would be a given.
