It was a nice, basic room with hot breakfast. I almost called in to the desk about the noisy people in the halls, talking and slamming doors around 11:00pm but they settled down after awhile.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good. However the HVAC was not working. The room was 61 degrees when we checked in and nothing we did would warm it up. The next day the room was 76 and we had it set for 72. Barely a trickle of air from the vent. We slept with windows open to try to regulate temp.

Great stay

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated as family. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had many selections to choose from. Belgian waffles and mini waffles, options of breads to toast, eggs, sausage, cereal options, coffee and hot chocolate all day in the lobby.

When we checked in everything seemed great! We got into our room it was 70° and humid we turned down thr thermostat in both of the conjoined romms and went to the pool. When getting back up to our rooms the temperature didn't change !! We bokked 3 rooms months in advance and were on total opposite sides of the hotel! Cops were at the hotel arounf mid night searching for someone overal it was an alright stay but after being out in the heat all day at the fair my biggest complaint is no working a/c

Good looking hotel, very clean, easy access off State Hwy 59. Bed and pillows were great for a good night’s sleep. Negatives included tv remotes that don’t have a working on/off button (learned this was a problem in many rooms), bathroom faucets that are positioned too far back and very poor water pressure. Don’t know if this is just a problem for this specific 2nd floor room or the whole floor. Lighting in the room was minimal - very dark.
