Beautiful, amazing stay!

We loved our stay at Lost Iguana!! ALL of the staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The resort was beautiful with a hiking trail and other activities. The room was fantastic with a private patio and super cool outdoor shower. We will definitely be back!

I would give this the Lost Iguana 6 stars. From the moment we got there (yes it’s a 3 hour drive from Liberia) but it’s gorgeous. The rooms, the staff, the garden oasis, views of the jungle, restaurant and pool are all amazing. Calling out Jordan, Damian, and the bartenders for being so great. We stayed three nights. Nearby attractions include Mystic Bridges and within 30 minutes drive was La Fortuna and many hot springs. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We really loved our stay at the lost iguana hotel. It’s a little bit further from the town about 35 minutes so keep that in mind if you want to be closer to downtown. It was a smaller resort overall but the grounds were stunning!

I would say Lost Iguana Resort was the best part of our stay in Costa Rica compared to other places in Quepos or San Jose. The resort is tucked deep inside the rainforest, this resort offered a serene retreat with stunning rooms and a tranquil ambiance. If you are a bird entusiast, this is one of the nicest places to hear the soothing symphony of bird sounds all through the day. Food was okay, we didnt really like much the dinner options offered inside the resort. Vegetarian items are less and the taste of the food is average.

Love the remote jungle location. Only problem was this was a ground floor room and the family above sounded like elephants walking and running across their room. Also the open air shower never got quite hot enough especially with the rainy weather.

Amazing stay at Lost Iguana. Everyone working there was so kind and accommodating. Beautiful resort with lush greenery. Transfers via golf cart throughout resort available if raining (or just don’t feel like walking up/downhill). The room was beautiful and clean. Would stay again!

Hello, I stayed in the hotel for one day Dec26-27. The pros resort property, several units in a building good view of the volcano hotel room decoration is tropical and unique restaurant quality is good, and price is reasonable close to Mistico hanging bridge park the cons the property water supply is on and off, so we have water for 2 hours, then no water for 3 hours etc. This kind of periods last the whole 24 hours. So, the water is on and off for several hours. After a day's hiking in tropical weather, we have to sleep without showers The toilet can not be flushed, since there is no water. So the dirty stuff needs to stay in the toilet for several hours. Then, other people in the same unit cannot use the restroom any more. You will need ask for a golf cart to go from front desk to each unit, and ask for golf cart again back to the front desk, restaurant. Some people did go up and down hills by themselves, but it is not convenient. I paid $380 for one night, I think the hotel needs to at least refund me $190 for this inconvenient stay. jing
