Nice service, tasty dinner, relaxing spa area. They allowed us to use the spa area even after check out on the day of the departure. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel. Just one thing, the hotel didn't offer seafood breakfast like smoke salmon or shrimp salad, which are typical for four star hotels in Germany (especially in northern Germany). The breakfast quality was otherwise okay, but with seafood the quality would have been significantly higher.

Wir hatten ein insgesamt schönes und erholsames Wochenende, auch wenn es ein paar kleine Mankos gab. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und das Bett sehr gemütlich. Leider fehlte Duschgel, das Saunapaket war unvollständig, und an den Wänden fanden sich einige tote Insekten. Die Glasschiebetür zum Bad bot zudem wenig Privatsphäre. Wir hatten einen Balkon, allerdings mussten wir die Fenster geschlossen halten, da direkt darunter die Abluftanlage der Küche lag – Geruch und Lärm ab früh morgens bis Küchenschluss waren leider deutlich zu hören. Das Frühstück war dagegen wirklich grandios: tolle Auswahl, viele frische Zutaten sowie vegetarische und vegane Optionen – hier blieben keine Wünsche offen. Das Abendessen à la carte hat uns hingegen nicht überzeugt – lange Wartezeiten und geschmacklich für den Preis etwas enttäuschend. Sehr positiv hervorzuheben ist das Personal: stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Saunabereich war ein echtes Highlight – modern, gepflegt, mit drei Saunen, einem textilfreien Pool und schönen Ruheräumen. Besonders schön fanden wir auch den kleinen Teich in der Nähe für abendliche Spaziergänge. Insgesamt also ein erholsames Wochenende – vor allem wegen des tollen Wellnessbereichs und Frühstücks und des freundlichen Personals in Erinnerung geblieben.

Erst kurz vor Ankunft die Mail des Gastgebers gelesen, dass für die Nutzung des Wellness-Bereichs quasi unabhängig von der Verweildauer 15 Euro pro Person berechnet werden. Blöd, wenn man nicht mehr stornieren kann! Der Wellnessbereich ist dabei auch eher enttäuschend und wie eine Zeitreise in die 80er. Kein Schreibtisch im Zimmer, auch leider nicht vernünftig abzudunkeln. Zimmer groß und sauber, aber etwas in die Jahre bekommen. Frühstück gut, Personal freundlich.

Die Ausstattung (Balance-DZ) ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Grundsätzlich schien das Zimmer sauber allerdings lagen Kronkorken unter dem Sessel... Die Kosmetikbehandlung war fürchterlich (wurde nach Beschwerde auch nicht berechnet), Massage und SPA-Bereich sehr gut. Man sollte bei Abreise nichts im Zimmer vergessen, die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Rezeptionspersonals am Telefon hält sich in sehr engen Grenzen. Nur ein persönliches Erscheinen (extra hinfahren!) hat am Ende geholfen - sehr schade. Das war bei weitem nicht der erste Wellnessaufenthalt in diesem Hotel - wahrscheinlich aber der letzte.

Solides Haus

Das Personal ist absolut top,da kann man nicht meckern. Was uns aber den Urlaub etwas vermiest hat ist,das von Seiten Hotel.com falsche Zimmerangaben gemacht werden die dann im Hotel nicht erfüllt werden. Zum Beispiel beom Komfort Zimm gibt es eine Minibat mit einigen kostenlosen Leckerein. So etwas gab es nie im Hotel. Unser Zimm ist in die Jahre gekommen .Zum Beispiel war der Waschtisch aus Holz und es fehlte schon zum Teil das Funier oder das Holz war aufgequolllen. Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein.Benutze Taschentücher untern Bett,Staubweben an der Decke,Haar an den Wenden im Bad und in der Schublade im Nachttisch lagen noch die Tabletten vom Vorgänger. Wir haten nur zwei Überraschungen und das Wellness.angebot hat Pauschal 15 Euro für bis zu 5 Tagen gekostet. Do leider war an dem Tag wo wir es ausgiebig nutzen wollten 3 Stunden früher schluss und so konnten wir es nicht wirklich nutzen. Das Frühstück und der Servive sind wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten mit dem anderen vielleicht nur Pech aber das ist das was einen in Erinnerung bleibt.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Varel. Sehr gut war, dass der Saunabereich auch am Abreisetag noch genutzt werden konnte. Leider war allerdings der zweite, neuere Saunabereich am Sonntag geschlossen. Dafür war die Hotelbar am Samstagabend gut besucht und es herrschte eine super Stimmung

Es hat uns gut gefallen. Den einzigen großen Mangelpunkt den wir hatten war, das wir keine massage mehr buchen konnten in dem Zeitraum in dem wir da waren. Dies war sehr schade da wir nicht wussten das wir diese hätten im Vorfeld buchen müssen.

Wellness-Oase für den Kurzurlaub

Supernettes Team, tolle große Zimmer mit allem Komfort eingebettet in herrliche Natur - was will man mehr? Der Wellness-Bereich über 3 Etagen ist einzigartig. Das Gleiche gilt für das Frühstücksbuffet. Hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne hin. Für 2-3 Tage Kurzurlaub perfekt!

Wir waren eine Nacht zu Gast und haben es genossen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, modern und ruhig. Die Duschwanne war etwas rutschig, aber ansonsten ist das Badezimmer schön modern eingerichtet. Vom Saunabereich haben wir uns etwas mehr versprochen. Die Saunen waren sehr klein und die meisten Saunen nicht so heiß. Insgesamt war im Wellnessbereich fast kein Personal anzutreffen, wodurch man keine Fragen stellen konnte. Es finden auch keine Aufgüsse statt, was wir etwas enttäuschend fanden. Das Frühstück hat uns jedoch begeistert. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Brot, aufschnitten und warmen Speisen, total lecker!

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und neuwertig eingerichtet. Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Essen ist auch sehr vielfältig. Leider ist das Hotel nur etwas weit vom Wasser entfernt. Man ist schon fast gezwungen, mit dem Auto dorthin zu fahren. Aber alles in Allem 5 von 5 Sterne
