Property is not maintained and kept clean. Door won’t close completely and rooms are not really clean.People smoking everywhere and feels very unsafe and uncomfortable especially when you’re traveling with family. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We stayed here for quite awhile, when Dede & Pops ran this motel, it was in TIP TOP shape, with no homeless ppl living on the stairs, garbage all over the parking lot. After they moved away a young man Tony took over and he was doing a great job, always friendly, never acted like we were taking HIS towels. But the man at night very tall was as rude as they come, was on his phone constantly, hateful acting. Total opposite of what it was when Dede & Pops ran it. You've lost the BEST managers you'll ever have. Run as fast as you can Dede & Pops they don't deserve you.

If you're looking for a budget don't trust the reviews.The pillows are flat.I had a nasty stain in my tub.That looked like piss that wouldn't come up. Pillows are as flat as they can be.I can't stress that enough.3 pillows to a king matdress.I couldn't see them not being angry Pool is 2 feet for a major road with no wall or barrier

Great location

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, its located 2 streets over from the beach and lots of restaurants and bars. The only issue is the street traffic is loud and the curtains do not block the light from coming in the window. Make sure you take ear plugs and a sleep mask

The place was unsafe and unsanitary.. it stunk of mold and mildew… the whole place was moist… the bed was miserable and uncomfortable as well.. also we had people try to break in our room and hung outside our door for all hours of the late night

In a pinch

After our last hotel canceled our reservation after we arrived, i found this hotel last minute. We had to pay top dollar to stay during the first weekend of summer and this was not a top dollar hotel. The service was good and the location was great. The room was cleanish, the tv didn't work, the sheets had "pasta sauce" on them (both beds) and the shower hot and cold repeatedly. At least we had a place to stay and there were no roaches.

Our other options were limited due to many hotels being booked. We selected this hotel based off reviews and high ratings. We were sorely disappointed. This is not a hotel, it is a motel. Also, we found hairs all over our room. Finally, the front desk receptionist that checked us in was incredibly rude. He started our journey on a bad note and it went downhill from there. I would not in good conscience ever recommend this hotel. I think next time I’d rather sleep in our car.

It was convenient being only one block from the boardwalk and relatively clean. A few people hanging around the property looked a little sketchy but possibly because the 7-11 was next door. Cafe and donut shop next door were both good.
