I expected much more from a resort like this in Aruba. My stay was very disappointing. The room was not cleaned, the sheets were torn and clearly were not changed before my arrival, which is unacceptable for any hotel of this caliber. On top of that, there was no poolside service at all. I purchased a Ocean view room and all I got was a pool view with no sights of the ocean. The room was changed after complaining however there was no ocean view and I feel overcharged.

The Barcelo is in the perfect location and access to the beach is ideal. Our room was clean, however, the temperature in the room was freezing. We did have maintenance come and make it more comfortable, but after two days someone came back and made it freezing again. Since it was our last night we let it go. We were in tower 2. We tried a new restaurant on site each night. Our favorite was the seafood/steak place (closest to beach). We also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant and the buffet. This was our first trip to Aruba, and we hope it won’t be the last!!

Overall this was a nice stay. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff was nice, and the property is nice as well. My only issues of note was that the toilet in our room was having issues, we had to call maintenence a few times to come fix it. There was also h a day where they cleaned the room but left absolutely NO towels or washcloths in the room. We had to go down to the front after a LONG day and wait quite a while for them to get us towels so we could shower up for dinner. Otherwise everything was good.

The hotel was very nice. It is big and very beautiful. The staff are super friendly and very professional. The location of the hotel is very convenient. I did feel like they could have explained included accommodation a little more. The food was good, however a little more variety at the buffet would be nice. My overall experience was good and I would stay here again.

A very nice resort! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. My only minor complaint is that the cleaning crew could be more attentive when it comes to restocking bathroom supplies. Other than that, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this resort to others.
