Great house, safe, comfortable and minutes to so, so much
We loved the house as our home base while in Aruba. We were out doing activities everyday and were happy to return to the pool, patio and comfortable living spaces. I sent a note about the pool one day and someone was there to clean it very quickly. It was very windy most days so some small leaves and such blew into the pool. Other than that very clean. The floats and chairs were greatly appreciated.
Constructive critique:
- a 2nd key would be very helpful. The front door can only be locked (or kept closed) using the key from inside. If we went out separately we had to make a plan or go through the backyard to a patio door, but then the front door remains locked until the party with the key returns
- as with many rental properties we found a lack of towel bars, hooks, hangars and a shelf in the small bathroom's shower.
- also in the small bathroom there was a very restrictive filter in the the shower drain which caused water to pool and escape the shower area. Removing it during our stay solved the issue
- the cabinets over the kitchen sink are a hazard to anyone over maybe 5' 7" (170cm). Too easy to bang your head
- the oven is a very nice Bosch unit but no manual was provided. I did find it online, but had to use the exact model # in the door to get the proper instructions
