The staff was really helpful during our stay. The rooms were adequate and clean, but nothing special. The food from the restaurant was very good. The kids enjoyed the pool and the pool area was good with lots of seating.

Room was clean and the staff was extremely personable. The bed was VERY firm so we did not sleep all that great (note if you like a softer mattress) It was very quiet and there was a lot to do in the surrounding area. We did not get to eat at the restaurant or use the pool during our stay.

Room appeared clean but there was confetti everywhere, probably from Valentine’s Day. It was under the furniture and in closet. Arrive in the restaurant was absolutely horrible. Took 30 mins to order drinks and get water. Watched our drinks sit on the bar for another 15 mins until I went up and got them myself.

Due to the snowstorm, I asked about the possibility of a later checkout. While I ultimately was allowed to stay, the interaction at the front desk felt unnecessarily argumentative before the accommodation was granted. Given the circumstances, a more understanding or empathetic approach would have gone a long way. I completely understand that policies exist and that availability can be limited. My suggestion would simply be to approach these requests with a bit more flexibility in tone, even when the answer is not immediately yes. How a situation is communicated can make a significant difference in a guest’s overall experience.

Room was very clean but they turn the heat to 66 when your not in it. There was no fan in the bathroom either. BUT the ladies at the front desk were helpful and full of positive vibes! Dinner at the Irons was very good and Daniel is a great server! Amenities are 4 star but service is 6!
