I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Marbella Beach Club & Resort and overall had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautifully clean and well maintained, with a real sense of luxury throughout. The pools are stunning and provide a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The staff truly made the stay exceptional — everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
The gym is excellent.
Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection and high-quality food that set us up nicely for each day.
There are just a couple of minor points worth mentioning. The bar prices are extremely high, even by Marbella standards — charging around €20 for a gin and tonic felt excessive and a bit unnecessary. Additionally, while there is supposed to be an adults-only pool policy, this wasn’t consistently enforced. Children were allowed to play in the adult pool area, and despite lifeguards being present, the rules didn’t seem to be upheld.
That said, these are relatively small issues in what was otherwise a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, excellent staff, great breakfast, and beautiful pool areas.
