Wow!! is usually the first word. Set in a stunning position in an idyllic location. Situated overlooking Whipsiderry Beach, sadly the steps to Whipsiderry are temporarily closed, but it is only a short walk to Porth Beach or Watergate Bay, this 2 bedroom cool coastal contemporary apartment is superb, and is the ideal surf retreat, light and airy, set in a perfect spot, in a area of outstanding natural beauty, overlooking the sea, and a central spot for exploring the wonderful, rugged coast and beautiful Poldark Country. The apartment has been recently decorated with new flooring and furnished to a tasteful extremely high standard, with modern comfortable sofas, large 55 inch curved screen TV, music system and many extras. You will need to use an electronic key fob to gain entry into the block along with the added benefit of allocated secure parking for one car in the basement The apartment has a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner fantastic bi-fold doors that fully open onto a delightful balcony overlooking the sea, giving you a feel of complete open space, where on warm barmy nights you can sip your wine. the apartment is equipped to the highest standard, with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped with white gloss units, oven, ceramic hob, Integral washing/dryer machine, integral fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc. and beautiful granite worktops and games for the children. Free Wi-Fi for the guests. The luxury bathroom and en-suite are both fully tiled and have power showers, plenty of storage space and soft fluffy white towels provided. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Should the need arise the apartment has underfloor heating with thermostats in each room. The bedrooms have fully fitted mirrored wardrobes, and there is a utility room for the storage of you cases. There is also a surf cage in the car park for use to store wetsuits, surf boards, etc. The apartment is situated on the ground floor, in a non smoking complex, with the choice of stairs or a lift if coming up from the underground car park or a ramp if entering from the road. Although in a quiet location it is easy to reach many of Cornwall's main towns and attractions. It is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. Although you don't have to go far as so many fantastic beaches right on the doorstep, the apartment is situated opposite Whipsiderry Beach, and just 4 mins walk to Porth Beach. There are numerous places of Interest locally including many National Trust properties, St Michaels Mount, Landhydrock House, Trerice House, Bedruthan Steps, Crantock Beach. On the other hand you are only minutes away from Newquay with it's wonderful Surfing beaches - Fistral where the international and national competitions are held, golf club, pubs, spas, wine bars, restaurants and Newquay Zoo. If you are feeling energetic, you can always hire a bike [electric bikes now available at Porth Beach] and cycle the Camel trail. Across the road from the apartment are magnificent cliff top walks, and turning to the left you can walk across to Porth Island a bronze age burial site or turning right you can walk to Watergate Bay approx. 1 mile. I can highly recommend a stroll along the cliff in the morning, or evening and watch the amazing sunsets. You get a feeling of complete safety and relaxation whilst staying at the apartment. Newquay Airport is 2.8 miles away should you wish to fly down also Newquay Station is approx. 1.5 miles away with links from London, Watergate Bay is approximately 1 mile away, where you can join the Surf school or dine overlooking the beach. Locally there are numerous restaurants, and a good choice of major supermarkets in Newquay. A fantastic spot for exploring Cornwall. The apartment is cleaned after each guest leaves.

It was an excellent apartment and we really enjoyed our stay there. It was very clean and the host was very helpful. We enjoy exploring the area and loved the sea views, especially at sun set. It was great to have our own parking space, although it was abit tight getting into the underground car park with our car. Would highly recommend the apartment!!!

Absolutely amazing place to stay!The location was perfect for me and my friends—just a short walk to the stunning local beaches and everything Newquay has to offer. Lovely apartment

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property. It was really clean and well appointed; in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Newquay but a very short drive away; and the views and sunsets were absolutely amazing. We had a lovely time. The host was great. Extremely helpful and very responsive when we had a couple of minor queries. Would definitely book this again.

Great Location, Spectacular View!

Can't say enough about this flat!. Easy parking, great location minutes north of Newquay, perfect place to wake up early and take beautiful walk along the cliffs! Really conveniently located apartment. It's on a well used road so there is road noise in the front part of the flat, but we knew that would be the case and the bedrooms are very quiet with the windows shut. The apartment was spotless and really well, and thoughtfully, equipped throughout. The use of a surf cage in the underground car park is also really helpful. Barbara, the owner, was massively helpful on the run up to our short stay and was very responsive to our few queries. We had a great stay. Loads to do in the Newquay area too.

Great location

This is a lovely property in a great location. We arrived late on a cold night (-6) but the apartment was easy to access and warm on arrival. Having an allocated space in the underground car park was great ( although I was glad we’d taken my Mini as access would be more interesting with a large, low car. ) The apartment was very clean and had all the essentials and more. The location is fantastic - sea views and walking distance to Newquay, but also on the coastal path. It was the perfect location for a quiet, pre-Christmas get away. Thank you Elaine.

Fantastic apartment & great location!

This is a fantastic apartment, situated directly opposite the gorgeous Whipsiderry Beach. The apartment is very well-equipped and very nicely furnished, all very comfortable and spacious for our family of four. There is underground parking with a reserved parking space, and access to wetsuits/beach toys via the owners' surf cage which comes in handy with all the nearby beaches. We are able to watch the sun set every night without leaving the apartment, pulling open the bi-fold doors and enjoying the stunning views. Newquay is well-positioned to explore the rest of Cornwall, we had a fantastic week (May 2023). Barbara was always on hand too if we had any questions, and gave us lots of useful info about the apartment and nearby attractions ahead of our arrival. You won't regret booking a stay here - thanks again Barbara and Ray!

Home from home

Sadly, we are home from our holiday, we wished we could have stayed longer in this beautiful apartment which is well situated between miles of coastline. The communication was excellent. A lengthy email detailing all we needed to know about our stay and Barbara was on the end of the phone on the day and throughout the week, if needed, which we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment is well equipped, along with lots of lovely touches to make it home from home. The views from the apartment are stunning and the bifold doors bring the outside in on those beautiful sunny days. But even if the weather turns, watching the sea from the comfort of the apartment was great. We really enjoyed exploring the area and taking the walk into Newquay and along to Watergate Bay. Thank you for making our stay one to remember, we will be back.

Lovely Seaview Apartment

The apartment is situated opposite Whipsiderry Beach, it’s a cliff top location, where you can either take the steps down to the beach or just take a cliff top walk to the right or left with beautiful views over Watergate Bay. Ideal if you’re a runner too as it’s all on your doorstep. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. Great communication with the owners who respond quickly if you needed to speak with them. As the apartment has a coastal view you have the added bonus of beautiful views from first thing in the morning to when you return from a day out, through to the evenings. It’s a short walk down the hill to Porth Beach where there are a few restaurants, cafes and even a large car park should you prefer to drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to others.

Stunning clifftop apartment with amazing views. We loved our stay here and hope to return. Everything in the property was modern, clean and to a very high standard, we genuinely cannot fault it. We had already made plans to eat out most nights however had we known how well furnished the kitchen at the property was, would have opted to cook for ourselves. Coming back early evening and opening the bifolds to enjoy the sunsets was a real treat. The location is perfect for those who enjoy getting out and about. A short 2 minute walk to Porth beach and a 30 min walk along a stunning cliff top walk to Watergate bay. We particularly enjoyed our morning and evening strolls along Porth headland, where the waves crashing against the rocks is a spectacular sight. Communication with the hosts couldnt have been better. Everything was clear and laid out ahead of arrival and they were on hand if we had any issues (we didnt). A wonderful property. Highly recommended!

Fantastic apartment with amazing vuews

This spartment is superb, the best bit being able to open up the bifold doors along the front, allowing you to feel the fresh sea air. Well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely cliff top walk just across the road and a short walk down the hill to Port Beach - well worth it and highly recommend Gwenna Teahouse for cream tea, just cut across the beach.

Perfect, nothing less

We absolutely loved this apartment. We've stayed in a different one here before which was nice enough, this one was identical in layout, but that's where the similarities end. This one, owned by Elaine, is so clean, welcoming, well equipped, & I have to say it again, clean! The view is stunning, the furniture is comfortable, it has everything you need, the WiFi was good & stable so we were able to use our firestick in the TV. Elaine was so accommodating, great communications, very friendly before, during & after our stay. We highly recommend staying here, just don't all book it up completely so we can't get in again please lol. Thanks Elaine, we'll be back if you'll have us x
