Cheaper than some places, but l’d go elsewhere

I had to drive completely around the entire building, at night, to find where the entrance to the Lobby was, and then there was no available parking near the entrance to check-in, so l had to drive around the corner of the building to park, which made me uneasy as there were three males hanging out in the parking lot. I was disappointed that there was some bits of something in the bathtub when l ran the water to pre-rinse it, but mire surprised when l saw blackhair floating up the drain. Also, the big kitchen had no plates, cutlery or coffee maker, but there was a sign in the kitchen stating that you could request them from the front desk. The people at the front desk were easily accessible both when l checked in and checked out. The room was quiet, and AC worked well and was quieter than most units at other hotels l’ve been in. The dressers were worn (chipped and stained in the drawers), but the beds were fine (a bit too firm to my liking) and the sitting chair was in good shape too. Closet was huge! It was well stocked with towels and bathroom supplies, but one towel had black flecks on it (it was sittingbon the bathroom counter). The carpets needed to be replaced both in the room and hallways as they were worn and stained. Overall, I think in the future l will pay more to stay elsewhere.

Property location is great. Its close to many dining options & shopping. The building itself is ready for a refresh: paint, carpet cleaning, microwave, elevator maintenance, deoderizing, windows that close properly. Its a non smoking building, yet every night (4) I could smell cigarette smoke coming in from the hallway. Management was not available to complain to. Only a front desk employee that said, "People are hardheaded." I will not be returning!

Front desk associates were very pleasant and provided great customer service. Room was underwhelming based on pictures. Holes in the wall, Old furniture and TV. Floors were dirty so we had to wear shoes the whole time. Pots and pans had Teflon coating peeling off the side. Hotel is non-smoking but stairwells had cigarette butts in them and the hallways smelled like smoke. We stayed here so we could bring our dog with us and the hotel is definitely dog friendly but we would not stay here again.

I don't usually do not review hotel stays but I'm making an exception here because of our unique experience. This was the single worst/weirdest check-in I've ever had in my life. The front desk clerk seemed like he was on drugs with his bizarre behavior. Our check-in was delayed by about ½ hour because the clerk couldn't remember his password to log into the IT system. He also locked himself out of the office when he forgot his passkey. Other than that, the room was clean but the contents were poor condition. Example, the microwave/frig were rusted out. The smoke detector was covered with plastic to disable it’s function. Not recommended.

The staff was wonderful. Friendly, helpful and kept their cool in spite of some challenges. The physical plant needs help--elevator was not working and battery in my door lock was dead, so took 3 trips to front desk (4 flights of stairs) to rekey and finally a lovely woman came in to repair lock. There was another guest with the same problem.

The hotel elevator was out of order for almost a month. My room was on the 3rd floor. The hotel should have notified guests in advance, so I could have booked another hotel.
