The living areas in this single-storey cottage consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with range oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, a dining area for two and a sitting area with woodburning stove and sofa bed. There is one king-size bedroom with Smart TV serviced by a shower room. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, a front patio with furniture and a rear garden with furniture, fire pit and teardrop hanging chair. Within 1 mile there is a shop 0.1 miles a pub and 1.7 miles a beach. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Enjoy a romantic getaway at The Old Brewhouse and Piggery. Note: There are steps throughout the property, please take care. Note: There is a sofa bed sleeping an additional two guests in the sitting room. Note: Property only accepts one booking per week. Note: Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at this property. Please note: not suitable for young children

The only National Nature Reserve on the island, Newtown is a great place for history buffs, hikers, animal lovers, and anyone looking to relax in a stunning natural setting. It is possible to go on an estuary safari from Shalfleet Manor all the way to the Newtown estuary, where you can see a wide variety of birds, plants, and other wildlife. Shalfleet also has a farm shop, village stores, and an off-licence in addition to its award-winning gastro pub and off-licence. Definitely a top-notch holiday destination.
