Accor Hotels - accommodation in Newcomerstown

Staff was friendly. Room was small but efficient. It did have sample sized complimentary shampoo, lotion, soap etc, there was a hairdryer (nice one), and a moving makeup mirror on the wall. There was a nice cabinet to hang clothes in. It also had a rack in the cabinet for a suitcase. There was a mini fridge, and a single serve coffee maker. Our room would have been best for one person traveling alone. The room had a small table, with two nice chairs. Good for working or eating. There were no chairs for relaxing in. That was something we would have really appreciated. In the evening they offered juice, coffee, tea, pop corn and cookies. In the morning they offered complimentary breakfast. Coffee, tea, juice, waffles, cereal, and cinnamon rolls. The room had a balcony. We did not take advantage of that. In our case, it looked out over the highway. So it was very loud, not scenic because of the highway. Sleeping was a challenge due to all the traffic, trucks with the Jake brakes and Sirens all night long. Perhaps the rooms on the other side of the hotel would have been more scenic, and quieter. There was an exercise room. To our knowledge there was no pool. If there was one, it was not promoted or mentioned to us.

Our room was clean and comfortably furnished, and the fireplace in the room was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Staff were friendly and welcoming, the whole hotel was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and felt very welcoming. The hotel had a great free breakfast and also free nightly snacks of cookies and popcorn available. We especially appreciated how kid-friendly the hotel was, as we were travelling with our young child. There was a nice swing set and several playhouses on the property grounds for kids to play on. The pool was convenient and fun. They had puzzles available to work on together, from 300 pieces and up. Kids ate free at the restaurant on Tuesday, and also got a free toy at the gift shop on the property. The location was nice and a short drive from attractions. We appreciated the hotel compound was surrounded by countryside and very beautiful. It was also convenient with a gift shop, small grocery, restaurant, and theater on the grounds, with the swing set and play houses in the middle of the property. We can't wait to go back again someday!

The accommodations were excellent; large,clean rooms, good breakfast, comfy beds, great lighting, beautiful lobby and courtyard. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
