Fantastic!

Booked with grey street as an upgrade to our usual hotel. We were not disappointed, in fact this will be our go to from now on, breakfast was absolutely delicious compliments to the chef, fresh pastries and poached eggs to perfection. Cleanliness of the room was superb. Everything was catered for including my request for a room with a bath and boy did they deliver. We will be back for sure.

Fabulous boutique hotel, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Central for shops, bars and restaurants. If you have mobility problems be aware that Grey St is hilly. I stayed in room 19 which meant stairs so again if you have mobility issues request another room. Saying all that I'd definitely stay again

Beautiful Georgian

The Georgian building is Grade II listed, formerly a bank. It's one of many lovely buildings in Newcastle. Our room was comfortable though a little akwardly arranged. The lighting was not very illuminating. The added bare exposed medival-style beams were a strange incongruity. The staff were fantastic. Great location.
