The staff make the place! A warm welcome! The hotel itself is an ex premier inn, so you know what you are getting, it’s slightly tired and in need of a lick of paint. no breakfast facilities as such they provided a brown bag breakfast, which hit the spot.

Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists.

Embassy Newcastle – Sure Hotel Collection by Best

Very basic hotel, similar to a Premier Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the outside area was dirty with lots of rubbish, which really let it down. Served its purpose for two nights for a wedding locally, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great night's sleep

Just an overnight stay before dropping iff our son at Newcastle Uni digs. Ample free parking. A very friendly and helpful receptionist. From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep.

The bathroom had too many hairs in it and the people at reception need some customer service training.Otherwise the stay for 1 night was not bad.
