Breakfast was wonderful but definitely not free. Got an upgraded room since our room wasn't ready which was nice with a small kitchen and living room area. Staff exceptional. Great location to Central Park. Beds and pillows very comfortable.

The hotel has a very old world elegant presence. In the day I have no doubt it was incredible. I think for what you get and the fact that the hotel is tired the price is way too high.

Room was clean. A bit outdated. But clean. Location is great, Hotel common areas are great. Housekeeping was selling us bottles of water in the evening, in the morning collecting still untouched bottles and reselling to us again in the next evening… it was a bit weird experience … but besides that part, i will definitely use this hotel again. Definitely recommending
