Great weekend getaway
Loved the house layout, hot tub and secluded atmosphere while only being 30 minutes to the majority of Hocking Hills trails. The owners were also incredibly helpful in answering questions we had as we were planning our trip. Would highly recommend!

Exceeded expectations
This property was beautifully updated, bright and spacious. We loved the view off the front porch, hot tub, comfy couch and extra blankets. The kitchen was fully stocked and the extra touches of travel size soaps and a very generous amount of towels made our stay extra enjoyable. Each bedroom having their own full bathroom was a huge plus for privacy and comfort. In the kids room, the bunk bed squeaked a lot disrupting some sleep, but that is the only concern that was brought up with our crew. The grounds are perfect for exploring and hiking, but make sure to check for ticks after your hike- to be expected in the woods! I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Weekend Getaway
We stayed here for a couples get away weekend with some friends and it was great! The house is beautiful and we loved that each couple had their own bathroom! Only downfall we found about the place was the hot tub had a sewer smell and the water was tinged green, so we couldn’t use the hot tub. There were quite a bit of ants in the house around the back door (traps were out by the door) and while sitting on the couch, we had ants crawl on us. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to others as long as the hot tub situation was fixed!

Private well stocked cabin
Communication was great with the owner. Responses were very fast and accurate. The cabin was perfect for our 5 girl getaway weekend. There were so many extra touches like cozy blankets, well stocked kitchen including coffee, filters, foil, and spices. The hot tub was in good repair and hot. The lake on the property is really pretty and we were able to take a nice walk exploring the grounds. The driveway is windy, steep in parts, and .25 miles long. I'd highly recommend arriving in daylight for the first drive up the driveway. 4 wheel drive vehicle would be helpful if snow is expected. We'd definitely stay here again for the ambiance and private setting. It was a little further from the main hocking hill attractions than we had planned for (our fault for not researching better). It was about a 40 minute drive but there is no traffic and we didn't have any issues making the drive each day. We also spent a Sunday Funday bar hopping in Athens which was just over 30 minutes away.
