You will find a fire pit and charcoal grill for your personal use! Avenwood Cabins offers private cabin getaways in the beautiful Wayne National Forest. Our woodland escape ensures relaxation while providing modern amenities. Each cabin boasts state-of-the-art hot tubs with a view of the forest, queen-sized beds for guest comfort, air conditioning for those warmer months, WIFI and Roku-equipped televisions to keep you connected, and of course a pet-friendly environment for your fur babies!

The cabin itself is minimal, but cozy and a good deal. I had no issues with the space itself. Hot tub works fine, for a more budget-friendly option in Hocking Hills, this has all of your basic amenities. Traveling in early January is great too, because the rates are cheaper and the park is nearly empty.Here are some notes though: cabins are closer together than I imagined, and properties are pet friendly so I heard dogs barking both nights. You can hear your neighbors every time they step outside. Bring your own firewood as they were out of it when I arrived and totally unresponsive. There are only dull butter knives in the cabin, so if you want to cut anything bring your own. I am a solo woman traveler and they are COMPLETELY unresponsive to texts and emails, keep that in mind. I will probably pay a little more next time I go to Hocking Hills and get a slightly more remote place.

The cabin was nice, fireplace and outside surroundings, etc. The water in shower did not get hot or even warm enough for a shower, hot tub was unclean, the bed was uncomfortable and there was only one blanket on the bed.

It was ok. The fireplace was not cleaned out, the weather was not good the day before so thete was alot of snow I called the owner and told her where we were coming from to make sure we could get to the cabin she said it would be no problem. My ca car got stuck for 4 hours. The lical fire department told us we should've taken the road we were on. Poor communication, and when we checked out she was rude.

The cabin was clean and exactly as described. Communication with the host was good- texts and emails. It is important to note that this cabin is very close to the neighboring cabins (especially the one on the left) and like other reviews mentioned, the shower wasn’t great. We figured out that the temperature display was inverted (“cold” was actually hot and vice versa), which was fine once realized but it took a long time to warm up and the water pressure was low. Otherwise, it was just as described!

My husband and I booked this cabin to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I loved it. The cabin was cute and spacious enough for the two of us and our dog. It got chilly overnight but the heater warmed it up extremely quickly. The hot tub was very enjoyable and private. I had read reviews prior to our trip about the shower water not getting hot - the hot and cold are backwards so you just have to have the knob on "cold" and it gets plenty hot! The mattress was also extremely comfortable and I slept like a rock. We only had the cabin booked for a few days but I wish we were able to stay longer. We really enjoyed our time!

We did not personally use the hot tub but the cabin itself was very nice everything was good it’s about a good 20 minutes from everything and it’s not to bad of a drive they give you really good instructions to get there! My only complaint is and it’s a personal one is the pillows was not the best

Clean and even smelled good! Hot tub was perfect after driving. We know the roads are out of your control but the one coming in was a bit sketchy. If it was raining, a 4WD would be a must. Would have like to stay longer but we were on a time schedule

Kitchen did not have a stove, but a hot plate. The bathroom sink did not have water and has a pile of hair in the bathroom floor. The AC unit would be running and the suddenly run very very loudly - which made sleeping at night impossible. The shower had no hot water, only Luke warm, and no water pressure. The hot tub wasn’t hot at all. And the back door was very hard to lock securely.

Lil cabin in the woods

Internet did not work and Tv was not working in bedroom. Overall was a nice place minus not having a working tv and no internet. Nice location and was clean.
