Not worth staying

Traveling and looked for a property to overnight. Description said restaurant and bar were available. That was not true. Staff was not helpful or particularly friendly. Room was just ok.

The shower water wasn't hot. The area was dirty going towards and around the elevator. When someone went in their room across and beside ours it sounded like our door was opening. I came here with my boyfriend from out of town for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Our room had dusty dressers/drawers, the air conditioner was blowing hot air and the phone didn't work. I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk to let them know. Thankfully they moved us to another room not far down the hall and it was better. Only problem is a couple of lights in the room weren't working and the next following day the tv didn't have a signal but luckily we left for the day. We decided to have the breakfast upon checking out and it wasn't all that. The biscuits were kind of hard and cold. The orange juice and cranberry juice tasted like water, so unfortunately we were left with drinking water with our breakfast. Another lady mentioned it and a lady changed it out but by that time we were already done. Trash was also overflowing, overall not worth it. The staff overall was kind and professional. The bed was comfortable but improvement is definitely needed here

The room smell like mold and mildew. I had a supervisor and a front desk agent to come in there we had to end up staying in the room because the hotel was packed in their swished us out the next morning.

Needing upgrade and rehab. There were hairs under the sheets. The lights were half out of the holiday Inn sign. I am a big fan of holiday inn express and IHG hotels but this one was lacking. Did not have the sweet roll and I even was charged for breakfast. On a plus, front desk staff was very nice
