The staff was all fine. The restaurant was very dissapointing, especially at dinner: the menu was inadequate, the room was too cold to stay so I took some things back to the room, it was noisy. Upon registering after a notified but late arrival, the night clerk did not ask for a credit card for incidentials which resulted in me getting locked out of my room mid-day, next day.

The shower leaked a lot of water, to where the bottom on the luggage we had UNDER THE SINK got soaked through. The door hinges were loose and clicked from air pressure every time anyone on our floor opened their door. The coffee maker didn’t work and was unable to make coffee. For what they charge for the room and parking, these are little things that shouldn’t have happened. Although the location was exactly what we needed, we will not be back to this hotel.

The window screen was broken in my initial room and it took 2 plus reports for the issue to be addressed. The breakfast wasn’t offered on several days during my stay. I prepayed and was offered a refund of 10 dollars daily although the breakfast on average cost 20 dollars. The cleaning staff were very efficient.

My window shade was broken and I had to follow up 3 occasions to get such addressed. My prepayed breakfast was not served on several days and after complaining I was offered a 10 dollar a day refund. The cost of breakfast on average was 20 dollars. Management was absent and often non responsive. The cleaning staff were very efficient.

The room was clean and great looking. My only real gripe is that there is no self-parking only valet, which itself is expensive. There might be parking spaces around the hotel or on the street, but whenever I stay on a hotel, I prefer to park close to it. This is solely by error, since I did not research enough to make sure that they had self-parking.

Staff is nice, but the property isn’t clean and the outlets in the room didn’t all work. There isn’t any ventilation in the bathroom so there’s peeling paint and a mildew smell. Ice room also smells like mildew and ice machine was visibly dirty. Carpets in common areas have huge stains. This hotel is also a 20 minute walk from the riverwalk and nice restaurants. Most of the area is closed or boarded up.
