Very clean inside the hotel; give some attention to the exterior (bottles, cans, trash). This is a solid 8+ rated hotel in a very safe and convenient location. We stayed here because we were exploring both Austin and San Antonio; loved the location and food options nearby.

Katie was the best! From the moment we walked in she welcomed us in with open arms. She made breakfast for everyone there and with such a caring attitude and heart. When we were leaving I gave her a hug and told her we would be back.

The price went down after I booked, and they weren't willing to refund the $200 difference for two nights. The beds were comfy, but the shower looked like it had mold in the caulking.

Besides exiting the elevator on to the second floor and the Smell hits you instantly in your face of marijuana ! Everything else was great , sure the hotel could use a refresher of Paint in the rooms but overall the rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of towels! The owners work very hard at making sure everything and everyone is taking care of their and the Breakfast is a bonus with fresh Hot Waffles every morning for you to make yourself and enjoy!

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I am disgusted with this hotel. After my daughter had taken a shower she found a BIG yellow stain on the towl. When my wife took a shower she found what seemed to be little bugs within the towl, VERY UNSANITARY. To top it all off, there was a HUGE spider crawling on the wall. 100% do not recommend this hotel.

The owner-operators are not attentive to their guests at all. As a guest, you are easily dismissed. They are, actually, quite rude. I realize it's an older property; however, our door didn't quite fit the frame, the toilet paper holder wasn't connected to the cabinet, and the tub controls dripped. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't worth the money for a 5-night stay either. Breakfast is basically nonexistent. The toast and jelly option was the best one.
