It was a lovely place! Very peaceful and pleasant and the service was fantastic. The restroom wall had some kid handprints on it. But I will say they upgraded my room at the last minute, so maybe someone hadn’t had a chance to check that room yet after it was cleaned. Overall, I give it five stars and would definitely visit again. I was super grateful for the upgrade so I was happy to wipe the wall down myself 😊

Amazing place, lake was very low, couldn’t seem to access the water. Not really the property’s fault but when you rent a cabin right on the edge of the water access is an expectation. Beautiful sights and friendly staff, love the deer food.

The access to lake, the views and scenery beautiful. Need to put in bold and on title that the glamping cottages have no private bathroom and the shower is scary and luke warm with spiders everywhere. Dirty dingy towels were given, no washcloths and luckily we brought our own. Pool was nice but dirty. Definitely not worth the price even a little bit. Might as well stay at a lakefront hotel..

I really enjoyed the sitting areas and the pool. There was a nice view of the lake, but I don't know if swimming in the lake was an option. The "swim" area was heavily wooded.

The place itself was nice. The inside of the room was dirty, dusty, the bed was broken the mattress was so old it’s uneven and it had a humid smell. Wouldn’t recommend this place honestly. The room we got was not worth it! We drove 4 hours and didn’t get any rest because the bed was so bad and old.

Canyon Lake lodging

Lighting did not work properly, shower had little pressure, both shower and sink did not drain, shower tub had rust water stains. Toilet is cramped up against sink area. Plumbing is very loud in room and above. Pest control is necessary. Bed was comfortable and clean.

It wasn’t THAT bad!!! I don’t know where all these negative comments are coming from. After reading a few, I started to get worried. All for nothing! Our lodge room was pleasantly quiet. Smelled nice, and the sheets were fresh. We has dishes to eat off of, a few pots to cook with and the tv had great reception. Sure the grounds could use a little clipping but it wasn’t anything outrageous. If I had to complain, the coffee pot in the room, made one cup at a time and the grills outside need replacing. The views are fantastic and the deer come right up to you. Perfect for the price!

The cabin that we rented was extremely dirty. The floor has not been swept for weeks. The dust was all over the place. The cabin’s deck was full of cat food and water that seemed to be there for a while. The cabin we got was missing some supplies that other cabins had like paper towels, hand sanitizers and a groom. The place was quiet and relaxing, if it wasn’t for the cleanliness of the place, this would be our to go vacation every time.

Pleasant surprise. Not the newest but the view was amazing, a lot more space than a regular hotel, affordable and the atmosphere was awesome. I will try and come back if the summer prices arent too high.

Overall a beautiful trip

Beautiful view! Mostly quiet for as busy as it was. They were very responsive about a late night issue. Only issues i had were the downstairs water was lukewarm at best. And the shower was barely a trickle. The hot tub jets didnt work and the paint inside the hot tub was chipping so it was everywhere. Theres no store on property like the map shows. Overall we had such an amazing time i was able to overlook the issues we had. Beautiful views as well. Super quiet. But it would be nice for everything to work for as much as i paid.
