Very friendly staff; very welcoming at check in and were helpful when we asked to leave our cases/bags after check out. The room was clean (3rd floor) and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a tad dated but obviously due to the age of the hotel. We stayed mid week so no problems with noise etc. The hotel is ideally sited within 2 min walk from the station. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel bathrooms need refurb really neglected with patching up Bed very uncomfortable two mattresses zipped together to form a double bed but both significant different heights. Kept waking up as it feels as though about to fall off bed as you go from one level to another. Won’t use again

Great hotel in a fantastic location for the city and train station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The ladies on reception made a real difference by leaving my boy sweets whilst we were out due to him missing out on trick or treating. Will definitely be back again

Did not have breakfast. With the price being charged thought it was outrageous that you have to pay extra. The room was dated. Some of the furniture looked old & out of place. Walked into a small chest of drawers that sticking out further than the wall, walked into the edge of the tv twice. Bathroom really out dated

This hotel has a lot of cobwebs in the bedroom’s light fixtures. The room was extremely hot. We were told to open the window but, even doing that did not cool the room and let all of the railroad and street noise in. The door to our room stuck every time we tried to open it. We had to use shoulder force to open it. Not good for older people.
