Car hire is recommended

Getting Around:

The Mediterranean paradise of Nerja is only a 45 minute drive from Malaga Airport. CAR HIRE: It is relatively straightforward to hire a car from Malaga Airport or Nerja itself. BUS SERVICE: There is a well-established bus service which operates a route around Nerja as well as services to the Nerja Caves, Frigiliana, Punta Lara, Torrox, Almunecar, Malaga and Seville. TAXI: There are several taxi ranks in the town centre and all the taxis operate off of a meter for short journeys AIRPORT TRANSFERS: There is a bus from Malaga Airport to Nerja via the central bus station in Malaga. A private taxi transfer from the airport can be booked with us for 70 euros one way for up to 4 people or 100€ for a minibus.
