The hotel was amazing, loved the architecture. It was about 10 minute walk to the beach and city. The only thing that sucked were the WiFi. That was a disaster.

A challenge to get in contact with front desk staff. There was never anyone there but a note was left for a contact via what’s app but never got an answer. Other than this issue, the stay was great

Wonderful property about a 8-minutes walk from the town’s square. The young lady and her mother running the place are VERY helpful and kind. We had a travel issue with my wife being sick and they were more than accommodating.

The property and accommodation were excellent but without a doubt the biggest asset was the open and easy communication with reception staff member Georgina. Georgina was resourceful, knowledgeable and a real delight to talk to. My daughter and I truly miss her and would highly recommend this property in a flash!

It’s an ok property. Not terrible but nothing to write home to mom about. Get ready for lots of walking bc it’s tucked away more in what felt like a neighborhood and away from everything.

We had booked a sister hotel, but the directions provided where incorrect. Locals guided us to the sister hotel, and staff where good enough to make some changes and accomodate us in the sister hotel as it was much closer to where we thought we had booked. It all worked out in the long run and the hotel was great.

The stay on the Ampelos was OK but its neighbour to a abonned building which has never been completed. The roof pool is nice where there is a nice view. Our rooms was located in the basement so NO view at all. That would have been nice to know this when we choice the hotel. The rooms was OK. The service fine. 5 euro to go to the ferry. Overall OK but wouldnt choice it agan cause of the location and NO view at all. Dissapointed is was a basement room.

It’s the worst hotel I had so far for my Greece in May 2026: the hotel address from Expedia is totally wrong. I tried to text the host from Expedia platform but never got any responses back. So when we followed the Google map to the location, there was no hotel there. We were there going no where and asked all locals. Eventually one nice lady went to google to find out hotel’s phone and called the host. After couple times we got connected with the host and was picked up by a nice gentleman man. What happened was very funny: first night at 12 am there was no hotel water. Texted both front desk and the host but no response. Then next morning no WiFi. The front desk said it was electrical issue and they were asking technician to fix it. The funny thing was the hot water issue happened again and this time the front desk had no excuses to lie about it. The host never responded my second water issue. Because the walking distance from hotel to the ferry port is over 20 minutes instead of around 10 minutes, I asked the front desk to arrange a drop off service for us but told we had to pay it. I explained to the front desk that if we knew it was over 20 minutes from the port, we will never pick the hotel so asked him to double check with this manager/owner. Finally he said the drop off service was free. So overall experience was very bad SO DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Its information is false and they have WiFi and hot water issues.

Fint hotell
