Better than the Gaylord at Opryland. Room was bigger. Nicer shower new. Quieter in spite of being near the road.Our new favorite hotel.Breakfast could have been hotter. Ate at the Grill both nights. Food decent.

The room was very nice with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. Cups, plates and utensils to use for meals. Staff was amazing making sure everything is taken care of. Great place to stay, especially for going to Vanderbilt.

I’m very unhappy that I could not cancel this reservation about 20 minutes after I made it by mistake. I called the hotel and was told that hotels.com could cancel the reservation. This booking was part of a longer trip to Gatlinburg which was booked also through hotels.com. I did not realize until after booking that the Home 2 Suites in Nashville was too far off the route to my final destination to the Homewood Suites in Gatlinburg. Also, I did book a hotel via hotels.com that was more on the route the night before I got to Gatlinburg. Very disturbing that this is understandable by hotels.com and after paying for two hotels, on the same trip, I still had to pay for a third I couldn’t use.

If you want a place to stay at a hotel that has everything you need at home. Great rooms that that is extremely clean, you have a almost fully equipped kitchen (no stove top), daily housekeeping, great bed changes every other day, there also great restaurant with free breakfast and you can get a nice dinner with a happy hour. The hotel is close to downtown but sets back off all the main streets and quiet. I will make sure to stay at this hotel again and anywhere i travel to!!
