Terrible hotel! Drive on by!

This was the worst hotel stay I have had in years! The room was not clean at all! There was a puddle of a sticky substance on the desk. There was a splash of a dried crusty white substance on the bed skirt. There was hair in the shower and on the toilet seat. The counter of the bathroom vanity had a sandy residue on it. It was late when I arrived, so I broke out my trusty Clorox wipes and did a quick cleanup of all the surfaces. Once that was done, I attempted to connect to the wifi. It would not connect. When I called the front desk, the night clerk did not know how to help me get connected. I figured it was time to sleep. Fortunately, the sheets on the bed were clean and the bed was comfortable. When I awoke the next morning, I packed up and went to the office for the advertised breakfast. There was a sign that said there was no hot breakfast, but rather prepackaged carry-out breakfast. None were available. I figured I would be fine with some coffee which was also advertised as complimentary and available. Both coffee containers were empty. I went to turn in my key, but the day clerk barely even acknowledged me as she worked on the office computer. The only bright spot in the stay was that the night clerk was friendly and tried to be helpful with the wifi issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Property had a low price. You get what you paid for. The staff seemed friendly, but the room could use a lot of TLC. Got bitten multiple times. Fridge did not work, but for the price I did not complain.

Check in was great. The room was dated. There was a stain in the bathtub, and the shower curtain had black mildew stains. There were not bath wash, shampoo or conditioner. There was a bottle of hand lotion that had been used and it wasn't replaced. The floor was dirty. My husband spilled a drink and when he cleaned it up to cloth was black.

We loved it. We stayed for about 3 weeks. Very nice and friendly staff. I think the woman’s name was Dorothy at the front desk, she’s a winner! I love her to death!

We went to the main office and informed them that the room we were staying in had mold in the bathroom and that someone had clearly been smoking in it as it was stale and yellow. That there were cigarette stains on the edge of the tub. That there were cockroaches in the room, that the bathroom door was busted. We stay there almost every weekend for work in the other building and there was never an issue this grand. We reported the issues. And we were still charged $150 fee for smoking/excessive cleaning in the room. We don’t even smoke!
