The room was nice and comfortable and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the manager's reception but were disappointed in the limited snacks as years ago I stayed at an Embassy Suites and remember the food options were much better then. The breakfast was delicious as nice to have an omelette made to order and the fountain soft drink machine was much appreciated. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very convenient with friendly drivers.

Ask for the airport view and watch the planes!

WHAT WE LOVE AND WHY WE STAY HERE: The breakfast is AMAZING! The glass elevators are beautiful and the lobby is so exquisite! We love the plants and little rivers with fish swimming and we love the waterfalls. The people hired are wonderful and we love leaving them tips! We love watching the planes landing and taking off. We love how quiet our room is. This last stay we had a few issues: The toilet handle was cracked and didn’t flush properly. In the middle of the night the ai phone service said maintenance would be notified of my need for a plunger! OMG!! Finally someone answered the phone at the front desk. She was the only person there. She had to leave her desk, find a plunger and bring it to me. That hotel is huge! Why only 1 person on night shift?? Not cool. Also, the mattress in the couch bed was awful! I wish they would use what they promise before buying one for every room. We actually do use that bed when we stay. It is advertised in their room description. After our son goes to sleep in the main bedroom, we shut the bedroom door and we pull out the sofa bed and watch TV together in the living room until we are tired. Then we go to the real bed so that our TV time doesn’t disturb our son. This is our favorite place to stay in Portland. Our last visit wasn’t typical of our previous stays. Hopefully that toilet is fixed…I’m checking toilets when we check in from now on everywhere we go.

We didn’t stay long but overall good stay. We had late arrival and they were responsive. Check out was a little confusing but other than that we were content and the breakfast had lots of options.

Tried to cancel reservations. I was told to contact Expedia. Expedia now says contact property. I bought the insurance and they were even worse to deal with. Dont buy insurance. Still trying to get a refund.

Unbelievable amenities for a fair price. Excellent fresh breakfast buffet included. Omelet station, all breakfast item's otherwise offered. Staff was fantastic. Notably Tracy and Cherie at the front desk, Robert, housekeeping and Robbie, shuttle driver. Room was spacious, king suite on the sixth floor. Christian at the Water Bar was awesome. Friendly, accommodating and a great bartender. Food on the menu was delicious. Overall, great hotel and reasonable rates considering the amenities. Highly recommend.

Our check-in was very awesome. When we arrive, they told us about the happy hour. Lindsay and Carolyn were our host. They made us feel very welcome. They gave us excellent service checked on us and made us feel very welcome. Our bartender was amazing also What an awesome staff.
