We had a great time at this resort. It’s definitely 4 star rather than 5 star but we would still recommend it. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was ok, not great. There’s only one restaurant option for lunch and dinner and the food was only ok. We chose to venture into town instead for dinner.
Note there is no ‘spa’. I was expecting a wellness spa with massage, sauna etc facilities. There is an option to have a massage in your room. We didn’t do this. There are also some weights available for outdoor weight training. They advertised yoga every morning but it was on only the day we arrived.
We took some of the tours offered (extra charge) and they were excellent- especially the island hopping and underground river tours.

The food and drinks were amazing. The tuna Taihitan style and the artisan coconut ice cream were standouts . On drinks the Gin and Tons were very tasty with added spices and the homemade pinapple rum was delicious.
It is family run and everyone was super helpful and friendly and accommodating. They printed my boarding passes, organized the shuttle to the airport and allowed an early check in.
The room was good, the bathroom excellent with lots of hot water, and there was a fan and an air conditions for cooling down.
It has a good reputation for its food with people who live there.
