The amenities were great. The hotel is on the shore of the lake with 2 docks and a small beach. They have kayak and paddleboard rentals, an outside fireplace and lovely hot tub.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Inn. The scenery is spectacular and the staff was absolutely kind and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The only “complaint” if it can really be called a complaint is that the front doors let in too much sound if people were loudly talking in the parking lot. The free breakfast was average to what you would find at other hotels. There was very little in regards to variety and very little breakfast fruit. There’s the option to eat on the patio and that was very beautiful. Overall, I would gladly recommend and I will return again

Loved the lake view and the various sitting areas. Staff could be a bit more attentive to breakfast area during busy times. It was a bit messy. I had to request a refill of eggs (ten minute wait) and the large water dispenser was empty.

A great choice for a stay in Nanaimo.
Check-in was quick and the staff was quite friendly. We were a little worried when we found out multiple groups were there for a swim meet. But the room stayed quiet the entire night. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept well during our stay. Breakfast is basic, and we do wish it had options. The staff again, was wonderful in the dining area. I do have 2 complaints about the room. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. Also, the balcony was a bit interesting as it was brutal trying to close the screen door and we didn't dare lean on the railing as it did not feel secure at all. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the hot tub, but many others did and seemed to enjoy it. Same with the kayak and SUP rentals. The lake is perfect for enjoying time for a good paddle around the area. The Inn on Long Lake was a great base for our weekend as we explored the island. It was a great value as well, and we do look forward to staying there again.

A lovely hotel, reasonably priced, in a beautiful location, comfy beds, and a very nice continental breakfast on the lake shore. Owners (or mgmt.) seem to care about the guests, and the business. Anxious to return here soon.
