Lavender Cottage, Heated Pool, Between Countryside and Sea, Quiet Marais Poitevin Retreat

Come and enjoy the absolute peace of the Marais, just 30 minutes from the vast ocean beaches and the majestic Vendée forests.



This cottage is set in a protected Natura 2000 area, an exceptional spot on 2 hectares between woods and canals. Le Bas Marais is located in the Marais Poitevin in southern Vendée.



The cottage, perfect for 5 guests, is bright with large glass doors opening onto the garden and canal. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, and microwave, and opens onto the living room with TV. There is one bedroom with a double bed, another with bunk beds (double below, single above), and a spacious bathroom.



Each cottage is semi-detached and has its own private garden at the back, separated by shrubs, as well as a terrace, barbecue, garden furniture, and loungers facing the canal.



The heated, secure pool is open from mid-May to late August, depending on the weather, from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.



Set off from your cottage for a boat ride on the Canal des Hollandais.



For your leisure, you’ll find outdoor games: football, badminton, ping-pong, volleyball, darts, swing, slide, and Molkky.



Bikes for all ages are available.



Fishing enthusiasts are welcome; please bring your own gear.

Bed linen and towels can be reserved in advance for an extra charge, with beds made up for your arrival. Baby equipment is provided free of charge on request (made-up cot, high chair, bath).



Underfloor electric heating is available for an extra charge.
