OVERALL: stay there! Highly recommend
Stayed there in summer 2021
INTERIOR: beautiful, modern Japanese, simple, calming, relaxing - nice modern Japanese style bedroom and sitting room with beautiful furnishings and great tea; bathrooms spacious and very modern
CLEANLINESS: perfect, all spotless
LOCATION: right in the middle of the village
FOOD: went to their restaurant for dinner, everything was delicious - modern JP-international, with fantastic bread ‘Sam’s bread’ from a local baker
Spacious, clean and well-equipped room. Excellent restaurant and food. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very nice ryokan overall. Pity it doesn’t have its own onsen.
The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Waka the girl who works there at breakfast was exceptionally kind and accommodating with one person's allergies and some late arrivals. She was brilliant!! It's not cheap but seems everything in Nozawa quite pricey.
