We were met by a disinterested host who claimed full capacity, so we were shafted into literally the last room at the end of the hall, on the first floor facing a parking lot with a blaring neon light. Add in that maintenance started nailing whatever in the room above at 8am and we were asking “where is the love?” Obviously it wasn’t booked the night before to start maintenance that early. It was troubling that we were asked several times if we booked directly with the hotel chain, as if we should have. What was more disturbing was the over-sell of the property. Instead it felt like a Disney facade on a tired motor motel. Just compare the pro shots they promote to the real shots we attached. NOT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. If you want to be mistreated and ignored this is the place for you.

The toilet flush valve assembly failed and tank overflowed. We secured the water and called the desk. The part was replaced within the hour and repaired, but the 1/4" water in the bathroom was not cleaned so we returned to the room 12 hours later at 10pm to find the bathroom still flooded. The staff took care of it within 30 minutes, but for the nightly rate of the room, I was disappointed this attention to detail was overlooked - particularly with toilet water.

We only stayed for one night however we enjoyed the hotel. Our room was very nice clean and super comfortable beds and pillows. Our room was on the main floor by the pool. Everything seemed fine. Until we took a shower and noticed that the bath tub drain didn’t work. I called the front desk to let them know about it. But no one came to see it. Restaurant for dinner was really good! Our server was very nice and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast. Our room was by the pool and didn’t have any view I didn’t mind that, next time I will request a room with a view at least to a parking lot. Overall we really enjoy the hotel. Except for the bathroom issue.

Literally across the block fr the aquarium. Village is for photos that is diagonal fr the hotel. Love the place. Very quick drive like 10 min to Mystic seaport museum. A must see. If not for kds...in my opinion the seaport museum is way better.

Really enjoyed my stay and will be back to stay again. Warm welcome at reception. Clean spacious room and a very comfortable bed. Complimentary water bottles in the room meant I didn’t need to go back out. Beautiful fireside couch for a glass of wine. Easy parking. A fantastic stay.
