The room was clean. Our TV remote would not work so Natalie took it and worked with it so it was operating again when we returned to the hotel. The sliding door to the bathroom did not close completely which was not convenient for bathroom privacy but everything else was great!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. After leaving a very unsafe and unsanitary hotel down the street, I found myself without a place to stay after midnight. I called this hotel in a panic, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. She reassured me over the phone, welcomed me in, and allowed me to check in so late and even stay until noon the next day. When I arrived, the hotel was spotless and immediately felt safe and comfortable. She made sure I knew about the breakfast and took the time to make me feel at ease during what had been a very stressful, chaotic night. The front desk staff member working the overnight shift from Saturday, September 27 into Sunday, September 28 turned a frightening experience into a truly positive one. I am so grateful for her kindness and professionalism. I hope she receives recognition from hotel management for truly fixing a very troubling situation — she is an asset to this property. The hotel itself was clean, welcoming, and everything I needed in that moment. I highly recommend this property and will absolutely stay here again.

Due to a change in my travel plans, I arrived earlier than planned. Darien was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was a little colder than I would like for an indoor pool but it was still nice to relax and unwind after long days of walking.

Great Experience

It was a great experience staying at the Hampton Inn in Groton. The room pleasant with good amenities and many comforts (two sofas, a kitchen sink, and microwave). Sadly, I forgot my swimwear, but you can even use their pool facilities! 9/10

The stay was Excellent.. One of the Better Hampton Inn's I've stayed at.. Breakfast was Awesome.. Parking was good.. Being able to get Fresh coffee regardless of the time, I really enjoyed.. Will be staying at the Same location next visit to Connecticut.. (I only stay at Hampton Inn / Hilton regardless of state).. Thankyou for making the stay feel like Home away from home

Upon arrival you were greeted by Jacqueline and another young lady at the front desk who were very personable and helpful with finding things around the area. When we came back from dinner to go to bed, we noticed.I should say my husband noticed that they were stains.Either yellow or red for blood, not sure if it was semen or not on our blanket and sheets. Disgusting!! I attempted to call down to the front desk.But the phone line was constantly busy so my husband took a walk downstairs.Besides the fact that the room was disgusting, the elevator should have been shut down because the noise and vibration.It was making sounded like it was going to blow up. Jacqueline, who was at the desk, came up, changed our sheets and our blanket.We showered and tried to go back to sleep forgetting about what we've seen. For the next 3 hours, we were so itchy.It was unbearable.We were unable to sleep and by 12 o'clock.We were going to be checking out because of the itchiness. We went downstairs and met Anna who was very helpful in changing our room.But by this time I was already disgusted.I wasn't able to sleep regardless. This room seemed to be a little checked.Everything out still unable to sleep.Even my little dog that I brought with me was itchy and constantly scratching.I didn't see anything besides more stains on their white sheets. If you're going to use white sheets you may need to use some extra bleach or oxy because it's disgusting. Very disappointed at this Hampton.Inn in Gr

This property is indifferently maintained, inside and out. The room was on the small side, with a bathtub and overall in need of update. Advertised as pet friendly with the fee not disclosed until too late - it is $75. Not sure whether per stay or per night, but as I was there only one night, I consider it exorbitant. This, for an inconsequential 10lb dog. On the upside, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. Overall, for the price (room + dog), it came to over $300 for one night. In Groton ? Definitely not worth it.
