You get what you pay for.. I only needed one quick night before my vacation rental started. This is super close to airport. The outside property is in pretty good shape, however the hallway carpet is pretty bad. Room is basic, not super clean. I had wipes and used a washcloth to clean the floors. Bed was pretty good. Noise level was loud at times. McDonald’s and Waffle House are only places to eat walking distance to hotel. Beach is only a few blocks away, but kind of a rough neighborhood. Staff was super sweet.

The worst stay ever that only reason me and my family stood there was because there was nothing available anywhere else the night I arrived. I had to get my brother room switch three time smell like dog room were filthy and I’m not try to over do it I’m humble but this place should be close down need a health inspection it was horrible. Keep in mind the dogs will bark at night and the sound will carry up and down the halls. The room floor was dirty, “wasn’t mopped” but everything else was good. Employees were very nice. Beach was a short walk. Keep your shoes and stuff with you or watched by someone. We had our stuff stolen and walked back bear foot. Our own fault because the majority of the beach looked like the kind that would steal anything left out. The jurassic park golf next door is okay, annd a Waffle House across the parking lot is convenient, and plenty of great restaurants close by. All in all it was a good experience. I would probably recommend it for a cheap get away.

There were several parts of the room that were dirty/rusted/broken/falling apart. Not sure if it’s standard but the windows didn’t open so there was no fresh air at all. The floors were sticky. Advertised as having a pool but when we asked about it the only information we got was “pools closed” with no reason. Lobby was okay but prices were insane for any of the snacks. Elevator was dingy as was the hallway. It was relatively quiet, so that was nice. The Waffle House was like 100 feet from the hotel which was great for breakfast in the morning. A few stores in town within 15 minutes walking distance was nice too. It was our last night in SC so it wasn’t that bad, but I would not have spent multiple nights there, even for the price. The woman that checked us in the night of was nice enough. The other woman that checked us out was very nice and accommodating. She allowed us to leave our bags behind the desk for a few hours after check out so we didn’t have to take them to breakfast. Having the mini golf place right next door was cool too, as well as having the airport only a 5 minute drive. Overall, I think if the place was a lot cleaner I would have given it a higher star rating. I didn’t pay a lot to stay there but I would have paid more had it been higher quality stay. Given the overall state of the room, we were also afraid to sleep under the blankets and slept on top. Not good for business.
