Great Bachelorette Weekend

Fabulous visit. Parking spaces a bit challenging at times, but non issue. Great location, good and friendly staff. Somewhat clean, two HUGE cockroaches ran out from under furniture in room. Needs pest control service

Not a great stay

Didn’t really talk to the owner much but when I did she was always very responsive! The place itself isn’t hat you see in pictures, very dirty and stinky! Including the resort itself, we left the next day.

Nice trip, nice location, friendly staff, as described. We had a nice short vacation at Compass Cove. It was a very busy time to travel (early August) facility seemed pretty full so along with that came crowded elevators, a few times loud kids running halls and sometimes empty ice machines. Our unit and common interior spaces could have been cleaner. Interiors sure could use updating.

I was supposed to check in early got there at 2:30 pm and was informed that checking was at 4:00pm ok so went out wait till 4:00pm at 4: pm no room called them as if was ready was advise that checking was at 4pm doesn’t mean rooms are ready didn’t get into room until 5:30pm we had driven 10 hours with 3 small children and a disabled person and they still could not be on time the receptionist was rude

The hotel is ideally located on the beach but the resort itself is very dated. They seemed very short staffed , as many restaurants and resorts seem to be these days. Very little staff presence. One of the elevators was broken and it took up to 10-15minutes to get an elevator. Forget getting timely food or drink service. Obtaining morning coffee from the hotel kiosk took 45 minutes one morning. The staff we’re working hard and polite enough but there was almost no staff to speak of. While in the hot tub, a glass was thrown or perhaps fell from an upper balcony and spilled on my daughter. Thank goodness the glass broke a few feet away and she wasn’t hurt. But I had to walk over to the next building just to find a concierge to tell them that the whirlpool had to be roped off.

Okay for a short stay

Over all the place was sufficient for what we needed for a short stay. I'll start with the good... The view was amazing from the balcony, the price was on the cheaper side and the check-in staff was extremely friendly. Moving on... Overall the room was pretty clean but there was some dust/dirt in the cabinets with the plates, there was pee on the wall in the bathroom, the beds were not comfortable at all they were very firm, and when we arrived there was no shower curtain and only four towels for six guests. A text message was sent for who would be taking care of our housekeeping during our stay. I sent a text to let them know that we did not have a shower curtain and did not have enough towels, there was not an answer to the text. I ended up calling down to the front desk and they told me they would get with housekeeping. They later came and left a shower curtain and some extra towels at the door. The next day we knew we were going to be gone so we took the do not disturb sign off the door and left it in the room so housekeeping could come in to clean. Housekeeping never came by. We had trash and towels piled up where housekeeping never came. I even tried to call the front desk to see if someone could come up to get the towels and trash, I could never get an answer. As I said in the title it was okay for a short stay. But I do not think I will be staying here again.

Horrible accomodations

This is, by far, is the worst accommodations we've ever had for a family vacation. It was advertised as a clean facility, but was quite disgusting. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a musty odor. When inspecting the room, the pull out sofa bed, was nasty. The linen was soiled and then when pulling it back and inspecting the mattress it had massive urine stains. There was a large stain on the carpet they tried to cover up by placing a chair over the stain. The linens on the queen size beds were soiled. And, the door on the unit did not have a functional dead-bolt lock and when you pushed against the door it would push open. There were broken cover plates on the electrical outlets. The chrome on the lighting fixtures were rusting. The ceiling had a popcorn finish and when we had come home from dinner it had started to flake off and cover our beds and kept fall down in chunks. The property did come and fix the deadbolt and bring a different mattress for the pullout bed. The pools were overcrowded and the chlorine levels on the indoor pools were unbearable. Parking was difficult and you couldn't find a place on property a couple nights. Save your money and do not stay at this property.

Property is poorly ran

Check in was a nightmare. Then when it was finished we were told it would be another hour before we could get in our room, which was an hour after we were supposed to be able to check in. Room was dirty, getting towels and clean linens was a nightmare, pools were cloudy and chlorine was so strong you couldn't breath, half the elevators were broke, etc. etc. etc. The property owner was very helpful and I do realize they are short staffed. I believe whoever is running the resort needs to adjust available rooms according to their staff ratio or get out there and help take care of things while they are short staffed. This is of no fault to property owner. The owner was very nice and understanding and I did get my cleaning fee refunded.

HONEST REVIEW

Rental unit was nice with a nice amount of space. Property did great with towels and trash each day, on-site parking, restaurant, poolside music and Italian ice stand, gift shop, and number of water activities were all nice. I would recommend the unit getting a more sturdy sofa bed. Also property could update ALL ELEVATORS and LAZY RIVER and KIDS WATER PARK in the pinnacle building. Owner was great at communicating and checking on our stay before, during, and after. I would stay again.

Not what I paid for.

This was a total waste of my money. Two of the four beds had dirty sheets when we arrived. There was garbage found around the room. The closet doors look like they haven’t been cleaned in about a year. The worst part was my husband having to clean mold off the ceiling. I would never recommend this property to anyone!
