You will feel right at home in the large open kitchen with beautiful cabinets and granite countertops, washer and drier. The spacious living area and bedrooms have flatscreen tvs, full sized washer and dryer, spacious living room and a private balcony giving plenty of room for you and your guests to enjoy your Myrtle Beach vacation. This two bedroom condo has a king bed in the master along with a full bath, the second bedroom offering two queen beds, and the living room providing a sleeper sofa.

The Carolina Dunes is located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach, known for being centrally located to all the Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and within walking distance of two restaurants, a bar and Starbucks! All balconies were closed due to an inspection. Locked from the inside. Was never notified in anyway during or after the booking that balconies would not be available, this is one of the main reasons I chose this location to stay.

False advertising

Day one of check-in the beds were not put together meaning the rail underneath of it was hanging over about 8 inch. If I could load a picture I would on day two the balconies were closed down in the entire resort By the city, not safe to take children. if I could load a picture of those memos, I would. . Beaches are beautiful and a good location.. however the balcony closing and maintenance coming in the room to put chains on the doors because of safety issues was enough for me. I’ll never go back.. don’t spend your money here .

Great location and condo

Great condo and view. Kitchen only had very basic cookware and dishes and no hot water to the kitchen sink so had to run the dishwasher more than we liked. Linens were stiff and scratchy but king bed very comfortable. Excellent balcony and nice furnishings.

This is our 2nd time staying.We loved it so much,we wanted to come back.I was excited to get the text that our unit was ready to check in several hours prior to 4pm but when I brought some luggage/bags up to the door,the door code did not work.I called and texted but got no answer.I just got lucky that a guy dropping off parking pass envelopes happened to walk by me and got me in with his own code.He then proceeded to call several people to try and get me help.It took over an hour and a half for maintenance to arrive.In the meantime,while waiting,I found some cleaning wipes and decided to start wiping down the counters in the kitchen.I was glad I did because they were filthy.On our 2nd to last beach day,I awoke early to find that our power was out.I was startled because that meant our baby monitor was dead because there is no battery.We notified management again and they said it was affecting several units in the building.They did update us that the power should be back by 11:30am but when it wasn't after 12:30pm we were really at an inconvenience.2 small children and a beach cart with all of our things to take to the beach...on the 6th floor...with no elevator.It was not ideal.Management ultimately offered a small refund which did make me happy that we were at least getting something back.Overall though,we really enjoy the Carolina Dunes location.The unit was nice. Master shower head,abnormally low though. Loved being beachfront,pool,outdoor bathroom,close to Gauchos, etc:)

Awesome Vacation

We had a wonderful week at this property. There is an issue with the master bath. The toilet needs repaired. It won't stop running unless you turn the water on and off when you flush. We called and the maintenance person didn't fix it. Also the sink needs cleared in there. The water sits in the sink and very slowly goes down. Other than those issues, which are easy fixed, the place was great!

This property is in desperate need of an update!!! We walked on wet towel’s every day we were there. The air conditioner leaked water in the second bedroom floor for two days. The washing machine leaked water in the floor- after washing one load of towels. I called the property managers two separate days. Repairs were made to the air conditioner the next day. Issue’s with the washing machine weren’t addressed at all. Bedding was uncomfortable to say the least. Would I rent at Carolina Dunes 6th floor condo 605 again??? No!!!!

We celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday. She enjoyed the condo and said that the decor was nice! I liked how the condo was well stocked, secure, and in a great location. We will be staying again, for sure.

Fall getaway

Property was very comfortable and the view was amazing. Clean condo. Was hoping that the pool heat would have been on but I believe the recent Hurricane Ian may have made it difficult to get it running…. Would stay at the condo again. The rental manager was very helpful.

No Main Television for the entire stay. Showers are for short people.

It’s a very clean condo, and I am not here to be negative, but there are some things that should be addressed. The couch and loveseat are incredibly uncomfortable, but we did not use this room as the cable box did not work on the living room TV at all the entire stay. Contacted office and a nice man tried on several occasions. I know it’s vacation, but at night we would have liked to have had Family TV. Bathroom showers are for someone under 6 feet tall, and the shower head was not adjustable, so we had to bend way down to wash our hair. The washer sounds like a small airplane getting ready to Taxi.. We rent condos a few times each year, but we will not return to this one. If you can overlook these things, then I say go for it, but for the money you’re paying, they’re are much better options.

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and as posted online. The only complaint we had was the refrigerator was not cold when we arrived, it took a good day for it to be cold. Other than that we enjoyed the view, the beach chairs provided were amazing for our days in the beach. As always we loved our trip and will be back!

This was my 1st time using Vrbo. Check in was extremely easy. The condo kitchen was dated, but extremely clean. I loved how clean the entire condo was. The view was outstanding. The people in the area were very friendly. Overall~a perfect vacation spot. Would definitely do again.

The place looks just like the pictures! Amazing view and the place was very clean. All the appliances worked. Only con was the building doesn’t have a front desk and lacked security. Everything else was great!
