I had a wonderful experience at the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel. The stay itself was great, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service during checkout. Ahmed Yar and Jowharah were incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and their kindness left a really positive impression. Service in restaurant and better staffing. We had to wait a long time for a table and after that the service was very poor and disappointing. For the price they charge , they need to staff better and train their staff better. Very poor experience.

The room were absolutely disgusting, they all smelled like cigarettes, the rugs in the room were nasty and very dirty. Our experience with our kids with the Fairmont was not good, the check in staff and the manager was very rude. They had a power outage for 4 hours in the middle of the night the day we landed and had planned to do Umrah. The staff knew about it but didn’t mention it at the time of check in however dropped of a flyer 15 mins after check in stating that it’s a maintenance issue and had to be done. We stayed here last year as well and our experience was very different but this time I would say that I would never stay here again. There are plenty of hotels in the clock tower which are much nicer and cleaner and will provide better service than Fairmont. They prefer Saudi’s over any other nationality. We had a Kaaba view but all we could see is the top of the Kaaba. Never again!

Very close to haram excellent breakfast very happy with upgrade breakfast on our last day that was a treat for us . Rooms big and spacious and clean plenty of toiletries supplied . The only issue we had was noise from next room only on our last night we had noisy next door people a dn most of noise was coming from connecting door which was closed but could hear them till late night the hotel needs to make them more sound proof
