Occupying an exclusive position at the top of Hospital Hill on a no-through road, the (circa 1902) Queenslander period residence is nestled amongst lush established landscaped gardens with wrap around covered verandas on all sides, encompassing stunning views of the Tweed River, town centre, surrounding farmland and a mountain panorama taking in Wollumbin (Mt Warning), the Caldera and Border Ranges to Springbrook.
The generous covered verandas provide weather protected lounging and dining options for any time of the day and season, ensuring ambient comfort and privacy for all guests.
The main residence offers accommodation for one couple or groups up to of six (3 couples.) Please note there is a downstairs fully self-contained apartment providing separate accommodation, which also enjoys a separate entrance at the opposite end of the property, separate parking and gardens.
Off-street parking is available with staircase access to the residence where you are welcomed through colonial entrance door to the main living area imbued with abundant natural light, French doors, lead light windows and 11ft ceilings that transport you to another time, coupled with modern furnishings to promote a comfortable inviting energy and relaxing stay.
The home features open plan living and dining with a country-style timber kitchen with gas hob, wall oven, dishwasher and split-system air conditioning.
