pit. Very few people use this lake, so bring your boat to experience
phenomenal water skiing and fishing. This is a destination cabin, offering
substantial activities and an abundance of outdoor fun and adventure, you may
never want to leave during your stay :).

OUTDOOR LIVING: Private canoe launch w/ area to moor personal boat (must bring
your own mooring equipment), paddles & various life-jacket sizes, screened-in
porch w/ hammock chairs, swing bench, ceiling fans in living/dining areas, an
additional private screened-in balcony (off upstairs bedroom 2) w/ seating &
ceiling fan, deck w/ dining table, gas grill (gas provided), fire pit, corn
hole, 5-seater hot tub w/ lounger, access to a boat ramp ~20 minutes away
KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ blender, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, Keurig
coffee maker w/ K-Cups, drip coffee maker, hot water pot, microwave, spices,
toaster oven
GENERAL: AT&T cell service, starlink, air conditioning/central heating, beach
chairs/towels, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, iron/board, laundry
detergent, linens/towels, trash bags/paper towels, pet fee (paid, pre-trip)
FAQ: Limited cell service except for ATT. Stairs required to access the home.
House is located near HOA common area entrance to the lake, may experience HOA
members parking adjacent to house parking area (very few people use this
area). Starlink is our Internet provider, full WiFi and calling available with
streaming. Small jet ski and small boat trailers welcome, large trailer
parking not permitted, personal boats can be brought, but boat must be
launched at public boat ramp and trailer stored at one of the local marinas.
Mooring equipment would need to be supplied by customer. (Owners can assist
with directions and how to for bringing a boat).
PARKING: Driveway (4 vehicles) - private along house
Guest access
Guests have access to entire house and trails off to the left side near fire
pit. Guests are allowed to use the stairs to access the water, however no
guest is allowed on anyone's boat except your own and our canoes which are not
in the common area. No littering or shooting firearms of any kind anywhere
within the HOA and National Forest. This will result in a heavy fine and is in
place for everyone’s safety. If you want to target practice, Panther Top has a
public range with pay what you can money box and is open most days all day.
If you, please dispose of your cigarett butt in the trash. This is a
beautiful area, please help us keep it this way.
Other things to note
You MUST have a 4WD or AWD to access during winter, when icy conditions exist.
We recommend you stop and get groceries before arriving to the cabin. Tammy's
Ice Cream and General store just 10 minutes away. They serve literally the
world's largest ice cream scoops; it is recommended to only get the small :).
Also at same location is a country store with gas, selling a mix of items,
from fishing equipment, laundry detergent, kitchen supplies, some food, etc.
They also serve great counry food daily. Murphy and McCayesville are each
about 40 minutes away, so plan accordingly. There are bugs in the woods and
may get in the house if doors are left open. Be sure to have mosquito spray or
long clothing at night. Please don’t use canoes without signing waiver.
No smoking - No firearms are allowed to be shot of any kind on or around the
property or anywhere within the subdivision. Pet friendly with a $100 fee (+
fees & taxes, 2 pets maximum) - No events, parties, or large gatherings - Must
be at least 25 years old to book NOTE: Access to the property and common area
of the development requires the use of stairs and may be difficult for guests
with limited mobility. The homeowners are not responsible for any injuries or
accidents that occur while using the stairs. Please use with caution - NOTE:
AWD or 4WD is required if icy conditions exist. NOTE: Driveway is steep which
is typical to NC mountain properties. Road conditions have been improved,
however you must keep momentum when leaving property. NOTE: The property has
limited AT&T cell phone service available. If you do not have AT&T, please
check with your provider to confirm your service quality. Use the provided
canoes at your own risk. The homeowners and/or HOA are not responsible for any
injuries or accidents that may occur while using the canoes or while enjoying
any of the property and/or amenities inside and/or outside of the lot lines of
the cabin rented. - NOTE: No dogs on the beds or any furniture - NOTE: No
tenant is allowed on any boat unless it is the 2 canoes we provide (and
whoever goes on canoes has signed waivers), or you provide your own. - NOTE:
If using the common area or anywhere on the lake or the forest to enjoy the
day, please clean up everything after. NOTE: Fireplace screen must always be
used. NOTE: Bonfires must always be used with caution and be extinguished
with the water hose after each use. Use these amenities at your own risk,
Tenant is responsible for any and all damages or accidents that may occur from
using the fireplace and/or fire pit.
