A six night stay for the opening weekend of Oktoberfest. Very friendly, welcoming front desk team. Hotel lobby is bright and clean. Restaurant area looked spacious and well equipped. Room was spacious and clean, beds were a little firm for my liking but it did not affect my sleep. The hotel was quiet at night, despite the time of year. Very easy for transport links around the city and plenty of local shops, and places to eat. Also with in easy walking distance of Englischer garten.

Nice clean room but very basic. Would be great to have fridges in the rooms. Breakfast served in the hotel next door and was ok. Basic buffet breakfast. They were kind enough to provide an iron and ironing board when asked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Public transport was easy to use. Good stay.

We had a great stay at star g during oktoberfest. The reception desk staff was fantastic on arrival/during our stay. The property and room was very clean. The online pictures do not do the guest rooms justice. In person, the room is tastefully decorated and met our needs. The affiliate hotel immediately next door had a restaurant/bar open (small menu) when we arrived in the evening. The uber from the hotel to the bus station early morning on departure day was 25euro.

The Star G Hotel was good, for the price. Location wasn't exactly what we though, but it was fine. The staff was a little cold at first, but after a few days, they warmed up. Just a cultural thing ... we hope. Disappointed no coffee in the rooms and no washcloths (maybe cultural, again), but the bar downstairs was appreciated! May or may not stay there in the future.
