My family of 4 stayed very comfortably in a quadruple room for two nights. It is in a good location - a mere 15 minute walk to most tourist areas. Very safe and clean.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was great. Check-in was easy. Public transportation is just a block away and it is a short walk to the English Garden. Summer visitors should be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned, though they do provide a fan.

Skip the breakfast

The room is clean and the hotel is located close enough to a Metro stop. My big gripe was being informed breakfast cost 18 Euros/person upon checkout. We just traveled quite a bit through France and Germany- that was the most expensive breakfast on our trip. The previous two places we stayed in Germany, it was included. Nothing was said until we checked out. While the breakfast spread was pretty good, with a family of four and kids just having a croissant and glass of juice, this was way too much money for breakfast for multiple days. We were never informed when we checked in, etc. The staff was unapologetic. Buyer beware. There is a much better bakery literally 30 steps out the front door. Getting hit with that extra bill was a major drag on the way out the door. Do better with transparency Hotel Adria.

This is a really great location to all areas of Munich, including Marienplatz. We enjoyed our stay so much. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. However, there is no air conditioning, so not ideal if you're travelling in summer months. The fans provided are loud.

Was well located next to English Garden park in the Altstadt-Lehel neighborhood. Great place to run and when hot, jump in the river like a local. Beautiful park to run in as well. The hotel is decent. Rooms provide OK value for the price. Staff is responsive.

Nice sized hotel in a quiet residential area close to English Gardens park, underground station and many small cafes and restaurants. Rooms were good sized, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was great, we didn’t include it in our original booking but added it afterwards. Much wider choice here than many other hotels offering continental breakfast. Bread tasted fresh and good variety of fruit and meat. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English and willing to offer advice of where to go. We had two rooms, one with AC and one without. Got a little hot during the heatwave in the room without AC but helped being able to open windows in a quiet area without noise disturbance. Would recommend this hotel to couples and families and we would definitely return here if we are able to come back to Munich.

Stayed during the summer. Extremely hot inside the hotel room. Numerous large spiders and debris outside the windows and no fan available from reception. Staff refused to clean and remove bugs from window. Sheets had bugs in them upon arrival. Will not be returning.

This facility do not have Air condition in the rooms, you have to open the windows and dont have privacy due to the proximity to other buildings, also feel the noise and exterior lighting during the nights, plus the sinrise is soo estly, you can notcrest in this room

Loved this quaint hotel and location! Our first time to Germany and loved location of this property - in a safe and quiet neighborhood, but close to great restaurants and the train station (Lehel Cafe for morning coffee was our favorite!!). Easy walk to English Garden and Marienplatz. Staff was great! Only things you may want to know prior to booking: not all rooms have A/C (if any)...ours did not and while it was tolerable with windows open and provided fans, the high was only around 80 with cool nights...not sure it would be tolerable in summer! Second, you must be able to go up/down about 20 stairs minimum...even to get to the "elevator", which is tiny and in between floors...you actually have to climb about 30 stairs to get to "first floor", which is above reception. Again, no issue for us, but could be for others with strollers or mobility issues. We did not eat the breakfast, as it was not included and we are not morning eaters.

Excellent location, quite and an easy walk to the English Gardens and to the Old Town area. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. Note that rooms do not have air conditioning so in hotter weather the rooms are going to be pretty warm.
